Wartime blue-grey camouflage as contracted by Naval Air Transport Service from AEA from May 1942 thru January 1945. Silver-and-black civilian paint scheme used by AEA in scheduled passenger service. Visual model upgraded to FSDS 3.5.1 from 2005 version. Higher-resolution gauges included. Instruments and interior details based on photos taken at New England Air Museum. This is the late Sunderland model MkIIIA (423 Sqn RCAF Sunderland at Castle Archdale, in late 1944), which was the upgraded version of the MkIII, with twin gun front turret, four fixed nose mouted machine guns and Mk3 centimetric radar. The Package is an FSX update of the original model for CFS3 by Ted Kaniuka, updated for FS2004 by Shessi of SOH. It features a new detailed VC with FSX compatible gauges and necessary adjustments for FSX. 2D panel design by Pete Mercy. Exhaust effect added. Thanks to Shessi for bringing it out for FS2004 so I was able to update it for FSX, bow gunner, tail gunner and top gunner views by Erwin Welker, new prop texture by Andre Ludick, VC adjustments, new gauge configuration and smoke by Michael Pook.

Textures only for the IRIS Tornado GR4 package. Something similar is available from another offering but it just didn't do justice to the depicted plane as that model had glaring imperfections that made it look 'unfinished'. I have however spent much time to ensure that I give you the best possible texture set for the aircraft in question, I had to improvise much here and there to make things work as far as the camouflage pattern is concerned, and I trust that you'll enjoy it as much as I do. Also compatible with P3d up to V3 (Not v4)

The Tucson airport opened in 1919 and was the first municipally owned airport in the United States. Commercial air service started in 1928 with Standard Airlines, which later became American Airlines. The airfield was used during World War II by the United States Army Air Corps. The current airport covers an area of 8,244 acres and contains three runways. In 2008 the East Concourse became Concourse A, comprising of Gates A1-A9. The West Concourse became Concourse B, comprising of Gates B1-B11. At this time the international arrival area was relocated to Concourse A, whereas before it existed as a seperate terminal.
