Caproni team commenced design work on a specialized high-altitude fighter, the CA.183bis. The CA.183bis had a liquid-cooled, 1250-hp DB.605 in the nose, driving contra-rotating six-bladed-bladed contra-rotating propeller. A 700-hp FIAT A.30 V12 engine drove a Campini compressor in a mid-fuselage duct. Scoops in the fuselage sides provided cooling air for the FIAT engine and air mass for the afterburner.

These files contain the Spanish translations of CFS2 gvr files one through seven. They will provide you with a distinctive Spanish atmosphere without having to add files via the mission builder. The credit goes to Franz Von Baron for his tutorial and radio static file. Thanks are also due to Martin Wright for his SplitGVR program. The real stars are mission and Delta_Lima who recorded the raw audio files.

When the P.23R was impressed by the Regia Aeronautica it gained a new designation as the P.123. During 1942 it was seriously considered as potential "America Bomber" for a single hit run over New York with no return possibility (the crew should be rescued in open sea by Italian ocean going submarine). The declared payload was 4,500 Kg, but for New York bomb run should be less (around 1,000 Kg).
