This UPDATE enhances the existing Lechfeld AB (ETSL) v2. Lechfeld Air Base is a German Air Force base located 1 km east of Lagerlechfeld in Bavaria. Klaus Jone did a magnificent job in creating this scenery for us flightsimmers. At the time - in 2005 - Klaus Jone depended heavily on the payware Lago FSE to create the emplaced buildings / objects for most of his military airbases, including Lechfeld ETSL.
Nowadays, the Lago FSE program is not readily available. After looking at all the screenshots which Klaus Jone packed with this scenery, it's disappointing to
install it and then NOT see all those lovely hangars, shelters and buildings.
How bare and empty it appears...without Lago FSE!! Well, I have replaced the buildings / objects with similar ones that You CAN see, if you have the required libraries. This scenery was made with EZ-Scenery. No Lago FSE or other payware is required.

This airfield, located about 20 NM in the west of Hannover (Capital of Lower Saxony,
North Germany), is the home base of the German Air Force "Air-Transport-Wing 62"
flying presently Transall C-160. During the "Berlin Blockade" the airfield played an important part in supporting the
"Luftbrucke".

This airfield located in the southwest of Munich has been closed down in the early
seventees. After World War II the airfield was operated by the US Air Force until it was handed over to the German Air Force in 1957. The German Air Force stationed
"Transport Wing 61" there flying the French Noratlas (Nord N2501) until an aircraft model change took place (Transall C-160) which was then the main reason for moving to Landsberg (ETSA). In memory of spending some nice years in Neubiberg as a Radio Operator and Navigator I decided to reanimate this airfield.

This scenery is an addon to the excellent El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" made by Kevin Burns. It represents the "German PATRIOT Training Site" and the "German Soldiers Club" at Fort-Bliss. The EZ-Scenery is dedicated to all the nice Raytheon people and US/GE personnel I met there many times. The El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" available here at the Simviation library is absolutely required to enjoy this addon!
