In October 2010, LAN Airlines acquired (98%) Aerovias de Integracin Regional S.A. (AIRES), a low-cost Colombian airline. As part of that acquisition, LAN repainted one of AIRES' Boeing 737-78Q's in the LAN livery, the first 737NG to wear this livery. AIRES operates scheduled domestic and international passenger service as well as domestic cargo service. AIRES is based at El Dorado International Airport (SKBO) in Bogota, Columbia. AIRES operates in several other major airports in Columbia as well. This repaint is detailed with hand painted logos and custom windows with hand drawn window shades. Ground Service vehicles have ARIES logos on them. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. As far as is known this aircraft was unique is so far as although the French Air Force had placed an odder for a number of Spitfires, only one was delivered before France was over run. very little is known about this aircraft or what happened to it, only one B/W photo is known, so the placement of the wing roundels is not confirmed, only a guess based on the placement and size of similar aircraft.
