FS98 Panel Bristol Brabazon Version1 This single example is said to be the largest landplane ever constructed in the United Kingdom.First flown Sept.1949.It was grounded by propeller mounting fatigue after only 400 hrs. Construction of a second aircraft was well under way,but never finished.They were both scrapped in Oct.1953.This panel is equipped with operational prop pitch and mixture controls.
