Conceived in 1937 as a contemporary of the Hawker Typhoon, the design of the Focke-Wulf 190 was one of the major german successes in aerial combat against the allies during World War II. No in-flight photographs of this historic aircraft exist, so this model was designed specifically to imagine how it may have looked in flight. FS2004/2002 Classic Ryan STA Package. The Ryan STA enjoyed much favor as a sport and stunt plane in the 1930s and was also used as a military trainer. It was a low-wing monoplane of mixed construction; a metal fuselage, wooden wing spars with fabric covering and external wire bracing. the STA has two tandem open cockpits. It was manufactured by the Ryan Aeronautical Company,San Diego, California.Examples of this aircraft are still flying today and are a popular classic aircraft because they are fast and very sleek looking! CFS2,FS2002/FS2004 Fairey Firefly NF MK1: This British Royal Navy fighter/bomber/night fighter aircraft first saw combat in Norway during 1944 against the German battleship Tirpitz. It was used mainly in the Pacific and was the first British aircraft to fly over Tokyo. Several Firefly squadrons saw active service in the Korean War. The 827 Squadron flew with MK1s from HMS TRIUMPH during 1951. This mdl represents a plane flown by 796 squad during 52/53. Original mdl by By Ted Simko.
