A new model of Polish PZL P.11.c early WWII fighter for Fs9.
Chris built the sim model using the large and excellent 1/32 Polish IBG PZL plastic kit, which was of considerable help
in detailing.
The aircraft depicted was from the 113th fighter squadron based at Poniatow airfield near Warsaw in September 1939
piloted by Flight Lieutenant Hieronim Dudwal.

. The Blackburn Roc was a British - built Royal Navy dive bomber / fighter..It was built as a development of the Skua (also as a carrier based aircraft) and first flew in 1938.
In all 136 were built having been ordered before its first flight.Delivery to the Navy started in 1939 but squadrons disliked the Roc claiming it was inferior to the Skua.
In 1940 Rocs were relegated to air-sea rescue and target towing duties before being withdrawn from service in 1943.
A floatplane version was originally planned but the prototype conversion proved unstable and crashed and no further production was carried out. Also the addition of floats cause a serious decrease in airspeed on what was already a relatively slow out-dated fighter.
Modelled by Dave Molyneaux.
