The D.H.84 Dragon was designed & built in 1932 by de Havilland as a 6 - 8 seat medium-distance passenger airliner. Its primary route was to be the London to Paris route flown by Hillmans Airways. British production was 115 aircraft of which 52 were the Mk2 version with the framed windows. A further 87 were built in Australia as navigational trainers. The aircraft was later superceded by the better-known faster D.H. 89 Dragon Rapide.
Three aircraft are offered in this package - the MK1 of Hillmans Airways, a MK1 in the livery of Railway Air Services Ltd (still flying) and a MK2 as Chrisair G-ADDI (now in America).
The models are built for FS2004 although they work tolerably well in FSX -( a modified config file and glass texture are included). by Dave Molyneaux

The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This closed cockpit version, initially conceived for civil use, was used also by the Croatian Air Force, the Luftwaffe and by the A.N.R. (for assault glider pilot training also). Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2.
This release (Part 2) provides a closed cockpit MDL in many relevant liveries. It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within in FSX.
A.V.I.A. L.3 (Part 1) (L3_v01-OPEN COCKPIT.ZIP) MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE INSTALLING THIS PART 2.

A new cockpit arrangement for Greg Pepper's lovely Calclassic Boeing 377. All new gauges with a new arrangement. But still retaining a fairly accurate and original look. The 2D panel has been deleted, as I never use it anyway. A description of all modifications and some necessary instructions are in the read me file. Enjoy! Bob Erwin

For FS2004 and FSX: The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This open cockpit version was also adopted for 'lead in' training, by the Croatian Air Force, and eventually the Luftwaffe, and by the A.N.R. for assault glider pilot training. Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2. Full details are in the suppled contextual history.
This release (Part 1) provides two open cockpit MDLs, with different landing gear, many relevant liveries, a combined contextual history of both the open and closed cabin versions, and an illustrated Student Training Manual to allow realistic simulation of the wartime Axis 'lead in' training syllabus. The Part 2 of this release will later feature the enclosed cabin version.
