FS2004 Vought F5U-1 "Flying Pancake" was designed to combine high-speed flight of a post-war fighter with helicopter- like takeoffs and landings. Alas, only one was built. It never flew. Like the claws of the Grizzly bear, this aircraft packs 10 air-to-air missiles as its primary armament. Original aircraft design by Brian Sturton.
