FS2004 North American Aviation XF-108 "Rapier" The XF-108 was designed as a Mach 3 long range interceptor primarily to escort the XB-70 Valkyrie. It got as far as the mockup stage before the project was canceled. This model is based on the mockup configuration and has the usual FS9 animations, transparent canopies, and a specular color shine. The 2D panel and VC are based on a photo of the front panel of the mockup. The sound file is from a tape of a actual GE J-93 engine. FS2004 CA-27 Sabre and F-86F Sabre Update. Update for Mike Stone's great looking CA-27 Sabre and F-86F Sabre (here). I have done a major rewrite of the aircraft.cfg file and the air file. The info now reflects the data that I found about the aircraft on the web. I have added smoke effects and overhauled the panel a bit. Added a digital trim gauge, a GPS, an autopilot and a toggle for same. It is the gray 'A' near the top of the panel in line with, and to the right of, the digital trim gauge. The original panel had two bitmaps when one is all that is needed, so I rearranged the gauges as needed and deleted the second bitmap. Bob Chicilo. 337K
