FSX/PD3 up to v4 Seafire MkIII
FSX/PD3 up to v4 Seafire MkIII
19.01Mb (1363 downloads)
FSX/PD3 v3-v4 Seafire MkIII The definitive naval Spitfire, the Seafire Mk.III featured manually folding wings. The Mk IIIs served in the front line until 1946 and were then rapidly superseded by Griffon engined Mks XV, XVII and 47s. France equipped some of its Aeronavale squadrons with ex-Royal Navy Seafire IIIs and these saw front line service in Viet Nam in 1946/47. It is remembered as one of the finest low level fighters afloat in 1945 and one of the few that could tackle a Japanese Zero on equal terms.. GMAX model by A.F Scrub

FS2004/FSX Seafire MkIIIb
FS2004/FSX Seafire MkIIIb
16.39Mb (1329 downloads)
FS2004/FSX Seafire MkIIIb The Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm entered World War 2 under-equipped with modern aircraft., so a logical move was an adaptation of the RAF’s legendary Spitfire. The first Seafires, designated Mk. 1B, were rebuilds of Spitfire Vb’s and entered service in early 1942. A handful of de-navalised MK IIIs served with the Irish Air Corps until 1960 and were almost certainly the last Seafires in service anywhere. Some historians have derided the wartime Seafire as too fragile and too sensitive to be an effective naval fighter and there is no doubt that its deck landing history reflects many accidents. It is, however, acknowledged as one of the finest low level fighters afloat in 1945 and one of the few that could tackle a Japanese Zero on equal terms. GMAX source included. Model by A.F Scrub

FSX/P3D (V.3) Focke Wulf FW-58 updated
FSX/P3D (V.3) Focke Wulf FW-58 updated
22.92Mb (1324 downloads)
The Fw 58 was a low-wing monoplane with two piston engines mounted in nacelles on the wing leading edges. The crew sat under an enclosed canopy. Aft of the flight deck, the fuselage was open to form a moveable machine gun station. The tailwheel undercarriage was retractable. The Fw 58 was widely used for training Luftwaffe personnel. It was also used as a VIP transport, ambulance, feeder airliner, photo reconnaissance, and weather research aircraft. It was built under license in Bulgaria, Hungary and Brazil. It was also operated by several countries such as the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia and Turkey. This is an FSX panel update for the Focke Wulf FW 58, previously designed for FSX by A.F. Scrub. The package includes a wheeled and a float version of the aircraft. Both the new entirely remodeled and enhanced VC and the 2D panel are now equipped with all authentic German gauges. smoke and VC light added. The wheeled variant's engines are now automatically fired off on the runway. All credits go to A.F.Scrub for the original model, new VC, gauge configuration as well as smoke and vc light by Michael Pook. This is the whole aircraft.

Thanks to LLS for the FSX native conversion. Andre Luddick for some texture updates. Other updates by Chris Evans. Tested in P3D4 but should be fine in FSX and earlier P3D versions. IMPORTANT!! ---->>> Use only gentle (c. 50% approx) throttle during takeoff (over 80K (MPH) and increase gradually after takeoff. Otherwise you will crash this powerful aircraft.

This is a panel update for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk VbTrop, recently uploaded by A, F. Scrub. Thanks to him for that terrific model but the panels needed some updating. FSX/P3Dv3/v4 Spitfire Mk VbTrop
FSX/P3Dv3/v4 Spitfire Mk VbTrop
17.16Mb (1456 downloads)
FSX/P3Dv3/v4 Spitfire Mk VbTrop The basic Mk V was a Mk I with the Merlin 45 series engine. This engine delivered 1,440 hp (1,074 kW) at take-off, and incorporated a new single-speed single-stage supercharger design. Several Mk I and Mk II airframes were converted to Mk V standard by Supermarine and started equipping fighter units from early 1941. The VB was the first production version of the Spitfire to use "clipped" wingtips as an option, reducing the wingspan to 32 ft 2 in (9.8 m).The clipped wings increased the roll rate and airspeed at lower altitudes. FSX/P3D v3Hurricane two seater
FSX/P3D v3Hurricane two seater
18.07Mb (975 downloads)
FSX/P3D v3 Hurricane two seater The Hurricane was a big leap forward in performance compared to biplanes such as the I-152 in service when the Germans attacked. The Hurricane also handled differently to equivalent Soviet designs and as a result the Soviets asked for a two-seater trainer version very early on.Ten Hurricane Mk.IIs were selected for conversion which involved removing the armour behind the original pilot seat and effectively fitting a duplicate cockpit complete with second windscreen. Having gained experience building the two seat trainers the Soviets went about converting the aircraft with a second position behind the pilot for an observer who faced rearward and was thus not as obstructed by the aircraft’s wing when looking down as the pilot was. These aircraft never had full canopies fitted to them which as well as making them extremely cold in the harsh Soviet weather also caused buffeting problems at high speeds.
