FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXV
28.01Mb (865 downloads)
FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXV The Supermarine Seafire, was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter used by the Royal Navy. The most important change in the Seafire Mk XV was the Griffon engine and the reinforced main undercarriage which used longer oleos and a lower rebound ratio. This went some way towards taming the deck behaviour , reduced the propensity of the propeller tips "pecking" the deck during an arrested landing and the softer oleos stopped the aircraft from occasionally bouncing over the arrestor wires and into the crash barrier. Two P3D and FSX native models by A.F.Scrub.

FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXVII
23.81Mb (598 downloads)
FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXVII The Supermarine Seafire, was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter fielded by the Royal Navy. The Seafire F Mk XVII was a modified Mk XV; the most important changes were the teardrop canopy, reinforced main undercarriage which used longer oleos and a lower rebound ratio. This went some way towards taming the deck behaviour of the Mk XV, reduced the propensity of the propeller tips "pecking" the deck during an arrested landing and the softer oleos stopped the aircraft from occasionally bouncing over the arrestor wires and into the crash barrier. This is a new model by A.F.Scrub. It is native P3D and FSX.

FS2004/FSX Westland Welkin F.1 DX290
FS2004/FSX Westland Welkin F.1 DX290
29.77Mb (802 downloads)
The Westland Welkin was a twin engine heavy fighter built as a response to the threat of high altitude Nazi bombing raids. Ultimately the threat never materialized and only 77 Welkins were ever completed. DX290 is pictured as it appeared at Yeovil in 1944 with Medium Sea Grey upper surfaces and PRU blue under surfaces with no roundels under the wings. Two aircraft in this scheme served with the Fighter Interception Unit at RAF Wittering in 1944, but none actually entered operational service. Painted on to J.R. Lucariny's Westland Welkin, this depicts DX290 as it came off the production line. Unfortunately, I cannot remove the bombs.

FSX/P3D Spitfire HF Mk 7
FSX/P3D Spitfire HF Mk 7
9.36Mb (754 downloads)
FSX/P3Dv3,v4,v5 Spitfire HF Mk7. Like the Mk VI, the Mk VII was a high altitude pressurised variant, this time powered by the Merlin 64 (F. Mk. VII) or 71 (H.F. Mk. VII) series engine with two-stage, two-speed superchargers. Extended, "pointed" wingtips were fitted to the Type C wings, increasing the wingspan to 40 ft 2 in (12.2 m). Because the threat from high altitude bombers never materialised many Mk VIIs later reverted to the normal, rounded wingtip. Native mdl by A.F.Scrub

Beechcraft UC-45B SATA CS-TAA
39.22Mb (922 downloads)
Beechcraft UC-45B, SATA - Sociedade Açoreana de Transportes Aéreos, Lda. 1947. The Airline is now known as SATA Air Açores and was the first in Portugal to register a civil, commercial aircraft, CS-TAA, baptized Açor (Azor) and after only two months of service, on the 5th of August 1947, the aircraft was lost at sea, while flying from S.Miguel to Santa Maria (there were no survivors). No color photographs exist, but with special thanks to SATA's oldest worker recollection, Mr. Gualter Cordeiro (retired at the time, but now deceased), it was possible to recreate what was once forgotten. Gold paint did not exist at the time, so dark yellow was used to paint the logos’ wings. Flight Dynamics by Jerry Beckwith's Workbook and Shupe FD Build 10; Paint by Tiberio Almeida.
