FS2004 Focke-Wulf FW-190 V18/U1(C-0) Kangaroo - 2. Original by Kazunori Ito redone by Jörg Sparbrodt This updates the power plant: It changes the turbine into a piston engine, adds the sound of a well roaring 12 Zylinder, also adds some more VC and NAV Lights as well as a blue flame with smoke effect right at the exhaust of the Hirth-Turbocharger (Everything shows up if you press "L" to switch on the lights). FS2004/2002 Focke-Wulf FW-190 V18/U1(C-0) Kangaroo. The FW 190 V18 was designed and built as a prototype for the high-altitude FW 190 C. This was completed with a pressure cabin, an enlarged vertical tail surface and powered by 1 ~ Daimler-Benz DB 603G, driving a four-blade propeller and fitted with a Hirth 9-2281 turbocharger. The turbocharger was installed in a prominent ventral installation with a large air inlet. This was later revised to Fw 190 V18/U1 standard with a revised powerplant (the DB 603A engine and a DVL TK-11 turbocharger), rated at 1,600 hp (1.193 kW) at an altitude of 35,105 ft (10700 m). The FW 190 V18 was coded CF + OY and received a white outline Balkenkreuz and Hakenkreuz. FS2004 Amelia Earhart's L10E Electra This aircraft is a customization, upgrade and optimization of Arik Hohmeyer's fine L10E from FS-Design Berlin. The intent was to match it as closely as possible to Earhart's L10E Lockheed Electra. Dave Bitzer's research at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and independent work by Alex Nicolson resulted in over two-dozen flight-dynamics changes, including proper-capacity long range tanks. Norman Hancock designed two custom panels for this historic aircraft; a classic version with a Sperry AP and a modern one with a digital AP and more navigation equipment. Before you can use this upgrade you must first have downloaded and installed the Earhart L10E Electra, filename l10eae01.zip.
