Bell P-39C Airacobra, bare metal, USAAC early 1941 (CFS
ONLY PACKAGE). Originally designed as an interceptor, the US Army
requested that Bell redesign the P-39 as ground attack fighter. This
led to the removal of it's Allison V-1710's turbosupercharger and
enlarging the plane; leading to a marked reduction in performance.
The C model was the first production variant. However it was soon
learned it was not suited to combat; lacking armor and self-sealing
fuel tanks. Only twenty examples were built and all were relegated
to training duties. FS5 Model/AFX by Eric C. Johnson. Converted for
CFS with animated prop, flaps, and landing gear. DP/CFS by Chuck Dome.
Includes Dan Griffin's CFS P-39 v2 panel. Custom FD by Christoph Ruhtenberg
of EYA - Enjoy your Aircraft. Checklist by Josh Van Stavern. History
file by Joe Baugher. Appropriate flight music (midi) included. First
of Fourteen sets of Airacobra packages; compiled by Derek 'Deke' Wakefield
of Indianola Flightcraft. 660K |

Bell F2L-1 SeaCobra USN
(fictional), NAS Ford Island, February 1942 (CFS ONLY PACKAGE). What
if the US Navy acquired a number of the ex-British Mk.1/P-400s in
early 1942 to make up for the losses sustained at Pearl Harbor. Unsuited
for carrier duty, the SeaCobra would've been limited to operating
from shore bases. Stationed at NAS Ford Island they freed up surviving
carrier capable fighters for fleet duty. FS5 Model/AFX by Eric C.
Johnson. CFS moving parts model by Chuck Dome. DP/CDP by Steve Bezant.
Includes Dan Griffin's CFS P-39 v2 panel. Custom FD by Christoph Ruhtenberg
of EYA - Enjoy your Aircraft. Checklist by Josh Van Stavern. History
file by Joe Baugher. Period flight music included. Third of Fourteen

Field, MI, February 1941 (CFS ONLY PACKAGE). Originally designed as

reduction in performance. The D model was the first combat ready production
variant. It was one of only a handful of modern combat aircraft available
to the USAAC at the time of Pearl Harbor. FS5 Model/AFX by Eric C.
Johnson. CFS moving parts model, original textures, and DP by Chuck
Dome. DP/CFS by Chuck Dome. Includes Dan Griffin's CFS P-39 v2 panel.
