Construction number 253 was built in 1953 as 130076 for the US Navy, and was then transferred to the Aeronavale as 76 under the Military Aid Program. This particular aircraft is believed to have served with Escadrille 23.S, and, powered by a Continental R-575-42 engine, the HUP-2 was capable of vertical replenishment, casevac, rescue and plane guard duties. 76 served with the French Navy until struck off charge 31st October 1964. Originally sold in 1971 to a civilian operator, 76 was bought by D. B. Baris in 1973 and now proudly sits on a roundabout at Charloise Lagedijk 938 in Rotterdam South. An actual veteran of the Aeronavale, it is hoped that this aircraft could be exchanged for the one hanging in the Musee de l’Air at Le Bourget, as that example, despite its colour scheme, never served with the French Navy. Painted on to Jim Jacobson’s model, modified by both LLS and Michael Pook, this aircraft is delight to fly and ideal for pottering around some Caribbean islands. Enjoy

Update for FSX/Acceleration Motorcycle Honda CB 550K from 1977. Probably Acceleration users or maybe also P3D users will have missed the animations done with Wingfold command. Thats the parking mode with the Honda on the stand and the disappering of the driver. Now I have changed that animations from Wingfold to Passenger Door (Shift E) and the the visor of the helmet opens now with Shift E 2. Please replace also the previous aircraft.cfg with the includes one. Model by Erwin Welker

This is an update of the F9F Panther by Aeroplane Heaven and brought into FSX by A. F. Scrub. I gave it a HUD and added a few other gauges to the 2D panel like a tail hook light; corrected any contact points that needed correcting; added burner flames to the engine that are on if the nav lights are on; added a launch assist section to the aircraft.cfg file so you can fly off a carrier; and I updated the flight dynamics.

This is a modification of A.F. Scrub’s Supermarine Spitfire PR.XI, to give it the standard PR.XI range, done with permission, and with two sets of textures. This modification was tested in a flight from Kissimmee to the site of Chicago, Meigs Field and returning to Kissimmee without any need to land in Chicago. The first set of textures is for PL841 as used by 681 Squadron in North Eastern India during 1945. From photographs the serial number appears to be the same colour as the centre of the roundel. This aircraft failed to return from a PR mission to Moulmein, Burma, in June 1945. The pilot, F/Lt Thomas Woodhouse, was missing, presumed killed. I hope this texture does him justice. The second set of textures was created showing PL965 as she was in 2023. This aircraft has a noble history, flying over 40 operational missions over Germany with 16 Squadron during World War Two. After a period with the Royal Netherlands Air Force, she was restored by the Medway Aircraft Preservation Society and joined the Hangar 11 Collection in 2004. Sikorsky S-61N 61-824 was delivered new to Bristow Helicopters as G-BHOF on 27th February 1980. After leaving Bristows, she became G-LAWS for Laws Helicopters until July 1999, going firstly to Air Harrods, and then to Elite Helicopters as G-VIPZ, still in the scheme depicted here. Sold to the US State Department as N824WA in January 2011, she then became N627CK with Croman Helicopters in September 2016. Repainted on to Dave Hardcastle's excellent S-61N model, this reflects G-LAWS high gloss black and gold colour scheme. I know the model will work in FS2004, but whether or not the textures will, I do not know. Enjoy.

FSX/Acceleration Motorcycle Honda CB 550K from 1977. This beautyful four cylinder Honda was my motorcycle in the years 1978/79. With 50 HP it reached almost 180 kmh. The airfiles provide quite realistic accelaeration and max. speed. The model can be parked without driver. When driving you can stear and you can control the roll angle. FSX cameras provide beautyful views including close vies to the beautyful engine. The model comes with 2D-panel and VC. FSDS 3.5 model by Erwin Welker
