| "Beginner's
Luck" Mission
You will fly a Wildcat on a post-maintenance check flight out of Henderson
Field, Guadalcanal in 1943. This is a very basic fighter sweep mission
created using Part 1 of Cody Coyote's CFS2 Mission Tutorial. It is
short enough to fly in realtime, but you will not miss anything by

8 Fix
12/17/02 Tom Sanford, thomas.r.sanford@gte.net Replacement MIS &
DYN files for Mission 8 to correct the inclusion of a "nonstock"
infrastructure PBY on airfield #1 in the original mission files.
This was causing CFS2 to throw an infrastructure error. The PBY
has been replaced with a "stock" C-47. 6K

for Combat Flight Simulator 2...The U.S. Side A ten-mission companion
piece(U.S. side) to The Defense of Iwo Jima Campaign. All-stock CFS2,
except for the Iwo Jima scenery which is included. Easy drop-in install.
(If you already have The Defense of Iwo Jima Campaign installed, scenery
installation is unnecessary since both campaigns use the same files.)

Defense of Iwo Jima/Reduction of Iwo Jima Campaigns Airbases.Dat file

The attached airbases.dat file is the stock CFS2 file with the airfields
for The Defense of Iwo Jima and The Reduction of Iwo Jima campaigns
added. Replacing the stock CFS2 airbases.dat file with this one enables
the Advanced Information screens at the beginning of the Iwo Jima
missions. (The file also contains many of the Korean and Chinese airfields
used in the Fox Four Korean campaigns.) To use this file simply replace
the stock CFS2 airbases.dat file in the CFS2/INFO folder with this
one. If you have a custom airbases.dat file installed, you may want
to save it for later replacement. 6K |

of Taffy 3 -
Mission for CFS2 Fly the Hellcat in the Battle of Samar, Leyte Gulf,
1944. Taffy 3, a task group of six escort carriers providing air support
for ground forces, is being attacked by a heavy Japanese force composed
of battleships and cruisers that has broken through and is intent
on destroying the entire invasion fleet. You and three destroyers
are all that stand between a successful invasion and total disaster.

Yamato.
I 've found this mission in the website of Japan.All describtion are
Japanesse langugage but I think it will be a difference experince
in CFS2 In the original mission you need B25H and vb_sb2c_helldiver
but I want to play with the stock plane.So all was substitued by B24D_LIBERATOR,TBF_Aveger.
Something you have to do,that place the JMK_Yamato folder in ship
folder and navy_captain in aircraft folder and Mission_Yamato_01 file
in mission folder In this mission you will role play as Yamato's captain
and will see the attack of USA Navy aircraft until Yamato was sunk.(
You will fly with navy_captain ) Caution : Don't start the engine
or increase the throttle otherwise you will fall from the deck of

Multiswap Foul Weather Carrier landing mission.
To Install: Copy and paste the mission file into your CFS2, mission
folder. To Fly: DPS, swap to U.S., Multiswap to the mission, then
start game. It is a large mission, so it will take a little longer
to load. ATTN:After you finish, always swap to the default CFS2, mission

| Pear
Harbour Arena.
Mission & Scenery: This Mission represents what Lt. George Welch &
2nd Lt. Kenneth Taylor Flew during the attack at Pearl Harbor. The
actions of the main characters in the movie Pearl Harbor (2001), played
by Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, were clearly based on those of Welch
and Taylor, but the way the memory of these two real-life heroes was
obliterated for the sake of a sappy fictional romantic triangle.Welch
remained in the Pacific Theater of Operations and went on to score
12 more kills against Japanese aircraft. After the war, he became
the chief test pilot for North American Aviation (Makers Of the P-51
Mustang).Ken Taylor also survived the war, scored at least two more
kills, and retired from the Air Force in 1970 as a Brigadier General
and commander of the Alaska Air National Guard, and is still living
