Petlyakov-2 CFS2 Russian twin engine light bomber 1941. The Pe-2 was a fast twin engine light bomber used by the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic war. Unlike many of the Russians obsolete aircraft the Luftwaffe found the Pe-2 difficult to catch and destroy. The Pe-2 was continually upgraded throughout the war .
