Mission - World War I Duel of Aces 1917 - Guynemer vs Osterkamp. By John P Fortin (aka Polar_Lion) Its about the day Guynemer spared Osterkamp's life. Georges Guynemer was already a french ace with almost 50 confirmed kills. Osterkamp had only recently become and ace. Guynemer isn't credited with this victory due to the lack of witnesses. Even though Guynemer was alone during the duel, for the stories sake, you will be flying wing for Guynemer. You will be flying a SPAD S7 out of Bergues Bierne, just south of Dunkirk. The fight will take place over Roulers.

This is the full 106-mission campaign about the black pilots of the 99th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group, known as the Tuskegee Airmen. This set of missions start in North Africa in 1943 beginning with their arrival at Casablanca, Morocco, and ending after just over two full years of combat with the Tuskegee Airmen flying over the remains of the Third Reich and Festung Europa. The missions are as close to historically accurate as I could make them. The majority of the background information was taken from the outstanding book: "Black Knights, The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen" by Lynn M. Homan and Thomas Reilly. I have had to omit some of the actual missions conducted by the Tuskegee Airmen just for brevity sake. I have also taken some creative liberty where limitations of CFS2 would not allow for total accuracy of mission building. For this, I apologize to the original Tuskegee Airmen and the authors of the book.

The CRDA Cant Z 1014 was the winning bidder for the Italian Long Range Bomber contest. Five prototypes were to be built, but for financial reasons, the production never came its way. The project was taken over by Piaggio, which had classified second with the offering of its P 108 at a cost of 50% less than those of the Cant Z 1014. It’s important to remark that the final P.108 production cost was exactly the same as the proposed for the CANT Z.1014.
