TR_F-86A Sabre Jet
3.78Mb (1375 downloads)
This is the original Sabre with the standard elevator, as opposed to the 'flying tail'. Aircraft Textures by R McGee (Bub), rmbub@optonline.net Panel, Gauges and AIR file by Mike Eustace, IndioBlack@aol.com DP by Tom Sanford. Drop tanks by Doug Attrell. These textures represent the F-86A-5-NA Sabre, 49-1318, FU-318, flown by (then) Capt. James Jabara while with the 4th Fighter Wing, 334th Fighter Squadron. On May 20, 1951 he piloted this aircraft, while temporarily with the 335th, scoring his 5th and 6th victories. These were accomplished even though his left droptank failed to jetison. The aircraft is fully animated: all control surfaces, opening canopy, airbrakes(spoiler key) Her loadouts are: Guns Only, Guns Only Long Range and Rockets. The droptanks are a selectable weapon and are released as such. (When flying with droptanks, they are automatically selected at takeoff.) The Lear45 folder is included for those who do not already have it instaled....it is necessary for default jet sounds. Installation is simple. Paste all files from the folders/subfolders of the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 main directory. TR Bf110 C Ver. 3 DVC
TR Bf110 C Ver. 3 DVC
5.23Mb (1371 downloads)
This is a final upgrade version of my original model of the Messerschmidt BF110C, which was used in the Battle of Britain. The primary improvement is a very detailed DVC by Bismarck13, William Dickens. The model has breakable parts and is multi-LOD for good FPS, It features full animation, except for the canopy, including steerable tailwheel. She has a nice 2-D panel by Paul Metcalf with AP,ADF and GPS panels. Her skin is from ZG26 by Sopwith Chameleon, who has done a number of alternate skins...all of which should fit this new version: http://sopwithc.wetpaint.com The 110C serves as a great player aircraft. She will also serve very nicely as an AI...and give you a hell of a fight. Installation: After unzipping the download, place the TR_Bf110_C folder in your CFS2/Aircraft folder, and place all of the gauges from the Gauges folder in your CFS2/Gauges folder. That's it. This is freeware but must not be uploaded to other sites or modified without permission. Enjoy.

TR B-26B Korea
TR B-26B Korea
3.56Mb (1481 downloads)
The A-26 Invader, a late arrival in WWII, continued to serve into the 1950s as the B-26B (the original B-26 Marauder having been scrapped). This model represents the B-26B solid nose attack bomber that served in Korea. She has all the features of the previous models, plus the new SID crew figures, and is wearing the skin of Martha Ann, 3rd BG, Korea, '52. The skin is by Sopwith Chameleon ( http://sopwithc.wetpaint.com ). The panel by Mike Eustace (PLEASE READ THE PANEL INSTRUCTIONS)...includes Korean GPS. Weapons by Dbolt. Gauges, weapons and crew figures included. To install, simply place all files from the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 main directory. This is freeware, but must not be uploaded to other sites or modified without permission. Enjoy!

TR_A-26C
TR_A-26C
2.90Mb (1166 downloads)
The TR_A-26C medium bomber is a straight-forward adaptation of my solid-nose A-26B. This model followed the B into service in the Pacific and more commonly in Europe during the last months of the war. This particular aircraft served with the 86th BS, 47th BG, Italy, '45. The glass-nose C served in mixed squadrons with the solid-nose Bs, and also with their predecessor, the A-20. This model is equipped with the a complex panel and bombsight by Mike Eustace. I urge you to read the Panel Instructions and the Bombardier Guide on how to take advantage of these features. The GPS gauge included is for Korea, but any gauge can be substituted in the Panel.CFG file and will fit into the panel nicely. The skin is by the incomparable Sopwith Chameleon, the weapons by Dbolt and the crew figures by Martin Wright. To install simply place all files from the download into the corresponding folders/subfolders of your CFS2 Main Directory. This is freeware, but must not be uploaded to other sites or modified without permission. Enjoy.

A.F. SCRUB YAK-3M-82
A.F. SCRUB YAK-3M-82
4.48Mb (1273 downloads)
In an attempt to increase performance while avoiding the overheating problems of the VK-107 and VK-108 liquid cooled engine variants, the single "Yak-3M-82" was built, fitted with the Shvetsov M-82 two-row fourteen cylinder radial engine, used on the La-5 fighter, and first flown in May 1945. Performance was very good and the aircraft was extremely agile, but with jet fighters coming on line, there was no push to develop the concept further, and the project was abandoned in October 1945. One test pilot classified it “as the most manoeuvrable fighter in the world” after one flight.
