Embraer EMB-111 Chilean Navy
1.29Mb (431 downloads)
Embraer EMB-111/P-95 for FS98/CFS1 Armada de Chile - Chilean Navy The EMB-111/P-95 is a land-based maritime surveillance aircraft which is operated by the Coastal Command of Brazil's Air Force under the designation P-95. Examples have been supplied also to the Chilean Navy and the air force of Gabon. Generally similar to the standard Bandeirante, the EMB-111 can be distinguished by its wingtip tanks and large nose radome. Internally it carries sea patrol radar, an inertial navigation system and Thomson-CSF passive ECM equipment. Underwing pylons can carry air-to-surface rockets, target markers, depth charges and chaff dispensers. The Chilean Navy operated the EMB-111/P-95 since 80s, and used them on maritime surveillance, SAR operations and anti-submarine patrols with additional anti-shipping capacity when carrying air-to-surface rockets. Currently are being replaced by the P3C Orion.

Original Designers: Donn E. Bohde New Chilean Navy Textures and damage profile for CFS1: Edmundo Abad (2009) Converted to CFS1 and repainted as Cessna 0-2 Skymaster #330, homebased at Torquemada, Viña del Mar. I have included a damage profile for use with CFS1, with ficcional armament: 2 x 0.30 under-wings machine gun, rockets and bombs.

De Havilland DHC-6 300 FACH Pack
De Havilland DHC-6 300 FACH Pack
1.89Mb (809 downloads)
In 1969, the De Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter 300 series (long nose) was introduced. Both aircraft performance and payload were improved by fitting more powerful PT6A-270 engines. This was a 680 hp (510 kW) engine that was flat-rated to 620 hp (460 kW) for use in the Series 300 Twin Otter. The Series 300 proved to be the most successful variant by far, with 614 Series 300 aircraft and their sub-variants (Series 310 for United Kingdom operators, Series 320 for Australian operators, etc.) sold before production ended in 1988. The Chilean Air force operate the Twin Otter since the sixties, mainly in southern territories as Llanquihue, Aysén and Magallanes regions. The resemblance of the climate and the topography between our southern regions and his native land Canada, make it optimum to operate here. Created by: Barry Blaisdell & Jens Borgstroem for FS98 Adapted to CFS1 and repainted by: Edmundo Abad Converted to CFS1 and repainted in four textures as: -DHC-6 300 #944 green/grey camouflage with high visibility markings. -DHC-6 300 #946 green/grey camouflage with low visibility markings and without door for skydiving operations. -DHC-6 300 #947 all grey camouflage with high visibility markings. -DHC-6 300 #948 green/grey camouflage with high visibility markings. I have included a damage profile for use with CFS1, with experimental armament for close support missions, tested in the DHC-6 during the "Beagle Channel crisis" (1978) : 2 x 0.50 machine gun in the wing-struts, 1 x 0.30 machine gun in the left side door, and bombs.

Thereinafter I have found other virtual models with the same characteristic but with different copyrights. I took all those information and resulted me difficult to attribute it copyright, but I believe not to mistake me if I list to the following: Original Designers: M.D. Baclawski/ Tony Bolton Original Chilean Navy Textures: Javier Barros Sepúlveda Moving landing gear and propellers: Rodrigo Rodas.
