I designed these bases for those of you, like me, that incorporate modern aircraft into the WWII world of CFS2. The field is oriented roughly north-south and has a slight curve to the west from its mid-point. CFS2 GZR_Amendola Italy By Richard Charlebois AKA:- "GZR_Frenchy/Frenchy 335th" GZR_Amendola Italy was used as a Heavy bomber base, it is the fifth in a series of CFS2 sceneries depicting the Italian airfields occupied during the war. By April 1944, the US Army Air Force was established in Italy, at Foggia and Amendola. This --was in a much stronger position to attack the oil-producing areas of Eastern Europe at shorter range and with far greater chances of success. Now, both strategic airfields are available for CFS2 to house and launch your B-24's and B-17's. 831K

Long enough runway for commercial jets, but you had better be a good pilot because you can't pull out once you start to land! LOL Lighted runway with security floods along the runway . CFS2 GZR_Benina Libya By Richard Charlebois AKA:- "GZR_Frenchy/Frenchy 335th". GZR_Benina Libya is a CFS2 scenery of Northern Africa consisting of a wire mesh runway and a tent city together with a bomb fusing station and stores placed as close to the historically correct original location as research of photographs and maps allowed. Two scanning searchlights will help you find the way home in the dark. Dual entry in Free Flight is available. Also included are the oil refineries of the Ploesti area with placement accurate to actual maps. However, as in real life you must find the refineries as there are no menu entries for the target. 472K
