The Airfile aind Air.cfg are completely new and a lot more realistic (we learn a lot in 15 years). I’m using the revised Erwin Welker VC model made for FS2004 as a basis. I also picked up his panel bitmap. I kept the original JR Lucariny texture, but I added two more aircrafts by Rodolfo Valery. As I suspect non-CFS2 stuff are causing CTD, I’m using only standard or very tested gauges like those made by Ground Crew. Weapons are Luft’46, designed by Laszlo Becz.

The package includes eight planes, one real, the prototype, and seven inspired by real Dewoitine D.520 aircraft. The airfile, aircraft cfg and panel were revised. Dive and landing performance were enhanced. The Dewoitine D.551 was to be a marvellous machine able to get 662 KPH with a 1050 HP Hispano Suiza 12Y51 engine. Three prototypes were built and were destroyed under German supervision. Williams Dickens know my admiration for the plane and built this model as a surprise to me. I used Jean Cuny's book L'avions Dewoitine to built the airfiles according the real object. In the real world, Replic Air, a French society, is trying to built a fourth aircraft following the original plans. You can see more at http://replicair.fr/en/aircraft/dewoitine-d551/. CFS2-panel for the FS9/FSX Martin B-10 updated by Michael Pook. As Michael did a great job for making a panel with working gauges in 2D AND VC, I noticed that the plane did also flies great in CFS2, with WORKING GAUGES also. So I reworked his panel for it with as much standard gauges as possible, and put in some extra panels (2 bombsights and a turret-view) plus all the extra gauges you need. Just download the B-10 from SimV, replace the panel with mine, put all the gauges in the CFS2 main gauges folder also (not necessary to overwrite), throw away the CDP and go flying.

Messerschmitt Bf109G-6/AS by Design Team Daedalus Unit: 9./JG1 Paderborn, May 1944 Pilot: unknown The first G-6/AS aircraft reached frontline units in early April, 1944 - III/JG, I/JG5 and II/JG11. I/JG3 received them in May and II/JG/27 got theirs in June, along with a few going to NJGr.10. There is no "standard" Bf 109G-6/AS, as the production included conversions of basic G-6 models and different radio equipment, oil cooler types, antenna masts, etc. were available at different times during the production runs. So each model we have created has its own unique features. Pstrany developed the models using Paul Rebuffat's Messerschmitt model - with permission - as a starting framework and updated the shape, and added a plethora of details, new parts, and ideas. Pstrany also developed the models for the drop tanks, weapons and racks. Captain Kurt created paints for each, the 2D instrument panel, the individual .dp files, the air files and the aircraft.cfg files. Mav SCASM edited each model so that they have animated wing slats, drop tanks, and other features, as well as optimizing models for the best possible frame rates. Mav also developed the idea for the 2d panel to be offset for the Revi gun sight to match the CFS2 reticle. We have all benefited from the assistance and guidance of others in the community. Special thanks to Wolfi and Huub Vink for their kind assistance and to all who have contributed their knowledge directly and indirectly.
