1.39Mb (2345 downloads)
FS2004/CFS2 Bristol Bombay. The Bombay was built to the Air Ministry Specification C.26/31 for a monoplane aircraft which could carry bombs or 24 troops. Despite the all-metal construction, the Bombay retained some features which were outdated at the time, such as its fixed undercarriage. Outclassed for the European theatre, it saw service in the Middle East, replacing the Vickers Valentia. SIAI Marchetti SM.84
1.27Mb (1828 downloads)
CFS2 SIAI Marchetti SM.84. In 1940, the Regia Aeronautica received a new addition to its bomber force, the SM.84, that was designed to replace the SM.79, but which never succeeded in equaling the performance of its illustrious predecessor. This was principally due to its lack of maneuverability, making it anything but ideal in the role of torpedo-bomber, and due to the general lack of reliability of its Piaggio P.XI engines. The model is made by William Dickens The airfile and dp are by Pedro Paulo Rezende (Peperez) The panel .bmp is by Phil Perrot (from the Alphasim Collection). 1.3MB

2.29Mb (1901 downloads)
CFS2 CANT Z.1018 "Leone" (updated version). Arguably the finest bomber produced in Italy during World War II and fully a match for any medium bomber produced by Germany or the Allies, the Leone (lion) appeared too late to influence Italy's fate in the war and was therefore built only in very modest numbers. 2.04Mb (1521 downloads)
CFS2 Consolidated B-32 Dominator. A heavy bomber made for United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War, and has the distinction of being the last Allied aircraft to be engaged in combat during WWII. Developed in parallel with the B-29 Superfortress as a fallback design should the Superfortress prove unsuccessful, it only reached units in the Pacific during the summer of 1945, and thus saw only a very few combat operations against Japanese targets before the atomic bombs used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended the war. The model is by William Dickens The Flight airfile and dp are by Peperez The Textures are freeware collected or made by W. Dickens. Panel is converted from FS9 C130 panel with no listed author. 2.1MB

            Focke-Wulf FW 187A-0 Falke
3.38Mb (2265 downloads)
CFS2 Focke-Wulf FW 187A-0 Falke. First designed in 1935 by Kurt Tank with absolutely no official requirement, the initial design performance calculations showed a potential speed of 348 mph (560 kmh) using 860 hp Daimler-Benz DB 600 engines. The initial batch of three pre-production Fw 187A-0 fighters were completed in the summer of 1939 with a rear facing radio/gunner position, and had 700 hp Jumo 210Ga engines. The armament consisted of two 0.787 in (20 mm) MG FF cannons and four 0.312 in (7.92 mm) MG 17 machine guns. The design was never adopted by the Luftwaffe and they fought the war with the arguably inferior bf110 and its successor, the Me210/410 series. The model is made by William Dickens The airfile and dp are by Christian Nölte The Textures by Willaim Dickens New Panel by Joachim Schmidt. 3.4MB
