This airfield, located about 20 NM in the west of Hannover (Capital of Lower Saxony, North Germany), is the home base of the German Air Force "Air-Transport-Wing 62" flying presently Transall C-160. During the "Berlin Blockade" the airfield played an important part in supporting the "Luftbrucke".

Neubiberg, Germany -v1 FS2004
Neubiberg, Germany -v1 FS2004
0.22Mb (269 downloads)
This airfield located in the southwest of Munich has been closed down in the early seventees. After World War II the airfield was operated by the US Air Force until it was handed over to the German Air Force in 1957. The German Air Force stationed "Transport Wing 61" there flying the French Noratlas (Nord N2501) until an aircraft model change took place (Transall C-160) which was then the main reason for moving to Landsberg (ETSA). In memory of spending some nice years in Neubiberg as a Radio Operator and Navigator I decided to reanimate this airfield.

Fort-Bliss GE-PATRIOT AirDefense FS2004
11.11Mb (309 downloads)
This scenery is an addon to the excellent El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" made by Kevin Burns. It represents the "German PATRIOT Training Site" and the "German Soldiers Club" at Fort-Bliss. The EZ-Scenery is dedicated to all the nice Raytheon people and US/GE personnel I met there many times. The El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" available here at the Simviation library is absolutely required to enjoy this addon!

Biggs-Field KBIF AI-FS2004
20.20Mb (860 downloads)
This AI-package contains several beautiful airplanes: Boeing: B-52H, C-17 Globemaster, E-3A NATO and F-18E Super-Hornet, British Aerospace: Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon and Hawk MkT1, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transal, Lockheed: C-5A Galaxy, C-130 Hercules and F-117 Stealth, and last not least Lockheed-Martin: F-16C Falcon. These aircraft perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Biggs-Field per attached flightplan in order to get prepared for the upcoming Biggs-Field Airshow. My part was just to prepare them in order to work in an artificial intelligent (AI) environment as good as possible. The excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" from Kevin Burns, available here at the Simviation library, is required to enjoy this package!

Alverca Airforce Base, Portugal -v1 FS2004_upd1
Alverca Airforce Base, Portugal -v1 FS2004_upd1
6.55Mb (373 downloads)
Although I tested the Alverca AB scenery on a more or less neutral computer with basic FS9 configuration, it was not obvious to me that some building textures were missing due to an active Fassberg scenery which was using some of the same textures. That means, FS9 took the required textures which were missing in the Alverca AB textures folder from the Fassberg scenery. This I didn't know so far. The textures for the water tower and the storage tanks are still missing and they will be provided shortly by a second update. I am sorry for causing this inconvenience.

About 10 NM north of Lisbon City (Portugal) there is this beautiful, close to the Atlantic Ocean located Portuguese Airforce Base. This airfield, located near Schongau in the Allgaeu (Bavaria, South-Germany), is the main training center for parachuters of the German Army and for cargo-drop missions of various users. The airport has been reworked to improve the overall appearance. Version 2 replaces V1 completely. The included AI-package contains: Bell UH-1D SAR, Nord-Aviation Noratlas ND2501, North-American T-6D and an aircraft.cfg for an AI-Transall C160. Two Transall and a single T-6D from Landsberg and two Noratlas from Kaufbeuren are comming over for TNGs at Altenstadt as scheduled per attached flightplan. A Do-28 does local TNGs and a Bell UH-1D SAR-helicopter hurries to Landsberg. Lago's FSE is required in order to see most of the major buildings / objects.
