In memory of the fatal crash of Nine-0-Nine I repainted the B-17 giving FULL credit to the aircraft designer/creator. Model by Alphasim. I added a black stripe on the right wing next to the "A" logo, includes stripe under wing as well. I also added a memorial with 7 lit candles on the right side front fuselage representing the 7 lives lost on that horrific day, includes the date. RIP 9-0-9 and thank you for serving our country for so many years. May all rest in eternal peace

FS2004/FSX Bf 109E 7 In late 1938, the Bf 109E entered production. It was the standard Luftwaffe fighter in the first years of WW2. The Bf 109 (designed by Willy Messerschmitt) and the later variants were some of the greatest fighter aircraft of the war. They are certainly the most famous of all German aircraft ever built. Normal and trop variants included. GMAX mdls by A.F.Scrub.

In 2009 the late Garry J. Smith did a volunteer project for the Heritage Flight Museum, at the time located in Bellingham, WA. He rebuilt BLI was it was during WW 2 using the original blueprints (with a few liberties, since it was basically a single paved and 2 crosswind dirt runways), and repainted freeware aircraft in the colors of the museum’s real aircraft. Thus, visitors can sit in the sims and virtually fly the priceless real aircraft located only a few feet away. In addition, just for fun he built Anders Field on a nearby island, and created the Pete Conrad Spaceport, complete with a Saturn V launch pad (MANY thanks to Nigel Booth for the awesome model!!). Heritage Flight Museum has since relocated to Skagit Airport (KBVS), and with Garry’s passing I decided it was long past time the project be released to the general simming world. Note that for those with frame-rate limited computers, Garry included a couple .BAT files to reduce some of the extra effects and make it run faster. This is a repaint of the Embraer EMB-110 in Aeromech colors. The freeware Embraer EMB-110 by Aeroproyecto is needed for this repaint. West Virginia based Aeromech was formed in 1951 by Angelo Koukoulis. In November 1971 it became an Allegheny Commuter partner. Aeromech was a regional carrier with a route network encompassing West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio. On October 1, 1983, Aeromech was merged with Wright Airlines. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. Textures are 32bit bmp. It should also work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.
