It was delivered new to Texas International Airlines and saw service with Continental Airlines after the merger until retirement from COA in Aug.1999, and now still serves faithfully with Northwest Airlines today ,some 39 years after it rolled out of the Long Beach factory.This is a tribute to an aging plane,that I have a personal history with.
