DC-3 SINGLE IFR PANEL COMMS PACK UPDATE 2.3
This package may appeal to those who fly the DC-3 or other aircraft
in multiplayer using Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont's IFR panel.
The modification was initially designed for the very active
virtual airline 'DC-3 Airways' (www.dc3airways.com). It updates
this panel to be able to change either preset 'Teamspeak' or
'Roger Wilco' frequencies from within the cockpit with no task
switch, depending on which Comms software is in use at the time.
That said, the new 'Roger Wilco' switch gauge included can be
added to any panel, allowing switching of preconfigured 'Roger
Wilco' frequencies with no requirement for additional software
other than 'Roger Wilco' itself. Offered with choice of white
or orange Bendix-style readout. To use the 'Teamspeak' gauge,
which appears as a light on the COM2 panel and can be switched
using dialed frequencies, 'Teamspeak' Client and 'FSTSTuner'
software are required - search this site. Full details are in
the README. By Mark Beaumont and Matt Kaprocki. File name: DC3_COMM.ZIP

DC-3 Twin Panel Package IFR Panel Update.
Requires DC3_PAN.ZIP (above) . Upgrades the twin 'IFR' panel
within that package and offers a single panel alternative for
improved frame rates. Small updates of default features, together
with your own registration riveted on the glareshield which
will change if the 'tail number' is altered, enabling this panel
to be used with multiple liveries. Now includes Don Kuhn's Garmin
530 GPS rather than the default. See also DC3_4TK.ZIP, which
will convert these or any other panels for the default DC-3
to four-tank fuel configuration. By Mark Beaumont. . File name:

Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit
The default FS2004 DC-3 is configured for three fuel tanks,
whereas by design the C-47/DC-3 had four from which to draw.
Many airlines using the DC-3 commercially blanked off, removed
or never installed one tank in order to maximise payload; they
were usually operating shorter routes than were typical of the
C-47 in military service, This conversion kit gives the option
of restoring the aircraft to four-tank configuration, giving
greater range for long duration flights. Offering realistic
fuel management, this option can replace your default configuration
or, alternatively, add four-tank aircraft to your DC-3 collection.
Note that this file will only be of use to those pilots who
like to set up fuel and payload properly before a flight; pilots
using default FS settings of maximum fuel and full payload will
find that the aircraft is over maximum takeoff weight in this
configuration. By Dave Bitzer and Mark Beaumont. File name:
