Comet 4B DH Comet 4B Olympic (BEA) early Textures only.
There was a lot of interworking between the Comet 4B fleets
of Olympic Airways and BEA. SX-DAN is shown here displaying
full Olympic livery with the red BEA fuselage squares. Nominally
delivered to BEA 14 July 1960 as G-APZM it was leased the same
day to Olympic Airways. Taking up Greek marks in April 1966
and becomming SX-DAN it was returned to BEA in November 1969.
Restored to G-APZM, it was sold to Channel Airways in May the
following year serving until the demise of the airline still
sporting a basic Olympic livery. Channel failed at the end of
February 1972 and in May this aircraft joined Dan Air. Flying
with it's new owner until 14 November 1978 it was broken up
at Lasham in September 1980. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4B model
