Hawks Wildcat (fixed)
Hawks Wildcat (fixed)
18.24Mb (3316 downloads)
This is Robert Hawk's repaint of J R Lucariny's FS9 Grumman Wildcat Modified For FSX. The Grumman F4F Wildcat was an American carrier-based fighter aircraft that began service with both the United States Navy and the British Royal Navy (as the Martlet) in 1940. Although first used in combat by the British in Europe, the Wildcat was the only United States Navy or Marine fighter in World War II 1941-42 in the Pacific Theater besides the brief appearance of the F2A Buffalo. With a top speed of 318 mph (512 km/h), the Wildcat was outperformed by the more nimble 331 mph (533 km/h) Mitsubishi Zero, but its ruggedness and tactics such as the Thach Weave resulted in an air combat kill-to-loss ratio of 5.9:1 in 1942 and 6.9:1 for the entire war. Modifications and textures by Mark Rooks of RDG Aircraft. 2d panel. No VC.

FSX Cessna 150 real world N1472Q textures for the 'Just Flight/FS Insider' freeware FSX Cessna 152
3.21Mb (1203 downloads)
FSX Cessna 150L real world N1472Q. Re-visiting the N1472Q repaint originally done for the FS2004 Fravin Cessna 150L. Due to the Fravin model's inability to display the gauges properly in FSX-SP2, this '72 Queenie' repaint is offered for the 'Just Flight/FS Insider' freeware FSX Cessna 152, which you must have previously installed in FSX, and whose gauges work nicely in FSX-SP2. Easy installation. By Tom Tiedman

FS2004 / FSX Dassault Mirage III B "Last Flight"
FS2004 / FSX Dassault Mirage III B "Last Flight"
16.32Mb (13091 downloads)
FS2004 / FSX Dassault Mirage III B "Last Flight" with new VC, full package with 2 liveries and 4 aircraft, by Patrice Grange. This IS NOT A SIMPLE REPAINT of my former Mirage IIIB. This is a completely reworked model with a lot of new features and animations: fully reworked textures, different canopy positions, ejection process, wheel blocks and ground animations, enhanced virtual cockpit with new gauges and animated lights, etc. The Mirage III is the emblematic French Fighter of the sixties. This new package contains 2 different Mirage III B (two seat trainer): special last flight version in 3 different configurations and standard silver scheme. This package is complete and stand-alone. The models have full moving parts and animations (control surfaces, gears, spoilers, canopy, dragchute, rocket cover, pilot ladders, guns, wheel blocks, etc.) + a new complete virtual cockpit + a custom 2D panel. Fully compatible with both FS2004 and FSX (SP2).

L1049H Nordair Textures
L1049H Nordair Textures
4.86Mb (836 downloads)
This repaint - textures only - is for the L1049H model of the Constellation Group around Manfred Jahn, in both Pax and Cargo Version. CF-NAM was delivered to National Airlines in 1957 as N7134C. It was purchased by Nordair in 1964 together with other Connies. The Connies were used on domestic flights to the North of Canada, but also on cargo charters to Europe. Sold to Canairelief in 1969, they were ferried to Sao Tome off the West African Coast for use on the Biafran Airlift. CF-NAM and CF-NAL are surviving there in derelict condition. The cargo version has a cargo net and different night lighting.
