FS2004/FSX XC-69 / L-049 Constellation Prototype. The XC-69 is the Constellation that started it all. Originally designated as the "Excalibur", the Constellation had a legendary beginning and star studded designers. Depicted here in three liveries, rollout day colors, flight test colors, and USAAF delivery colors. This aircraft would later be transformed into the first L-1049 and finally the first WV-2. S-4 Prototype (FSX/FS2004) After almost a year of work, here it is!: The S-4 is a multi purpose testing aircraft for the next generation of flight control systems. It's small wing area makes it a very manouverable aircraft but also very unstable in slow flight (safe landing and take-off speed is approx. 230 kts). This plane characterizes the whole S Series with it's sleek lines, engine bumps, and small and highly sweaped wings. Hope you enjoy it!
