FSX CF-220 Grizzly Package
FSX CF-220 Grizzly Package
17.15Mb (6949 downloads)
FSX CF-220 Grizzly Package. Visual model completely reworked from my earlier versions, incorporating a VC (no 2-D panel included). Total filesize amounts to 56% of my original Grizzly, despite having the VC and additional details. Textures included for Canadian Armed Forces (two military versions plus an air display scheme), Australia, Japan, Finland, and two paintkits, with a choice of armed or unarmed models. See Readme for acknowledgements and additional details. By Brian Sturton. 17.5MB Update: Although the Grizzly was released after much testing, some items have become apparent that, while not major, were determined to be easy to correct. Mods are included here for both FS9 and FSX versions, in armed and unarmed variants. This package comprises (a) new model files, which permit displaying the internal beam structure visible from the rear of the interior afterburners (presently it appears the burners are suspended in space); and, (b) added cockpit lighting for the FSX versions, which addresses the still-poor lighting evident during daytime flying. This package is not required, but rather recommended, for use with the recently-released CF-220 Grizzly. By Brian Sturton. 2.8MB

FS2004/FSX Northrop F-5A "Freedom Fighter" Package.
12.34Mb (12496 downloads)
FS2004/FSX Northrop F-5A "Freedom Fighter" Package. One of the most successful fighters in the modern era was the small, simple, high performance F-5 series. Reversing the trend of ever more larger, expensive, and complex combat aircraft, the little F-5 found favor in many of the world's air arms. With high performance, agility, and small size, a well flown F-5 can still hold it's own against the latest fighters. This FS2004 release includes three model types, five schemes, full VC's and "alpha-matic" underwing stores texturing. Will most likely work in FSX. Tim Conrad. 12.6MB

Dassault Mirage G8 Package version 2
8.51Mb (3777 downloads)
FS2004/FSX Dassault Mirage G8 Package version 2. This is an updated version of my Mirage G8, including 5 versions (single pilot or two seats) + a new 2D panel. The Dassault Mirage G8 was a twin engine fighter with variable sweep wings ("swing wings"), a very singular design for a Dassault aircraft. The Mirage G8 flew for the first time on May 8th, 1971, and demonstrated immediately an impressive level of performance, reaching Mach 2.04 during its 3rd flight ... The G8 was one of the guest stars during Paris Air Show in 1971. Unfortunately, only two prototypes were built - both included in this package - before the decision was taken to stop the program ... The model is proposed in five versions, has full moving parts and a new custom 2D panel compatible with FS2004 and FSX. No VC. Designed by Pat Grange. 8.7MB

FSX F-100D Super Sabre Dark Saber. Developed as a follow-on to the F-86 Sabre used in the Korean Conflict, the F-100 was the world's first production airplane capable of flying faster than the speed of sound in level flight (760 mph).\nOf the 2,294 F-100's built before production ended in 1959, 1,274 were -D's, more than all the other series combined.\nIts features included the first autopilot designed for a supersonic jet and a low-altitude bombing system. 6.13Mb (2981 downloads)
FSX F-100F Super Saber USAF 63948. F-100F was essentially an F-100D stretched for two crewmembers. \nThe USAF needed a supersonic trainer and North American Aviation converted an F-100C (S/N 54-1966) at its own expense for evaluation.\nThe F-100F, which first flew on 7 March 1957, retained the air-superiority and fighter-bomber capabilities of the F-100D although armament loads were reduced. A total of 339 F-100Fs were built. No VC. Original by Kazunori Ito Adapted For FSX By: Eric Buchmann. 6.3MB
