FSX native conv, misc stuff by:Y.T.
Alphasim S-55 VC merge installed.
Great flier, though the cfg is not really for a S-58, I didn't want to screw with it.
Excellent slinging model, saved slinging flight provided, and a AI carriers set of slingload objects.

Welcome to Grand Junction Colorado Regional Airport (KGJT) for FSX!
All the structures are custom. Airport vehicles use
the proper vehicle paths and do not use taxiways.
As with all my work the structures are original work.
Three scenery complexity levels are used (normal, dense, and very dense). More eye candy appears with each
increase.

There is a scenery addon made some 10 years ago with a volcano plus other fire scenery
in Iceland available on Simviation.
There is no indication where to locate this as given by Jim Abbey.
I don't think it is easy to find even though Iceland isn't that large.
Suggestion. Before you fly this simple mission, try to locate the addon volcano as a flight.
As a big hint, I suggest you select an airport near a coastline (most are there),
fly the perimeter of Iceland looking inland using an outside view and increased sim rate.
I made this mission as sort of a flight, rather than a regular mission.
For this reason, I didn't make a reward for this mission.
Intent is to permit you to easily find the scenery addon & erupting volcano with steam pouring out
2 small planes on fire and several fires.
Oh, Don added 2 additional fires near the volcano & another smaller volcano!
Don also has a volcano rescue mission in Iceland already uploaded. It does have a reward.

Based on a real-world texture but rather different model, I have tried to make it fit as best I can (see included reference pictures for comparison).
A revised prop texture is included - if it's not to your liking just overwrite with one from a default folder. By Gary Phillips.

This is a repaint of the F-28-1000 in Aviateca colors. The Project Fokker F-28-1000 is needed for this repaint. Textures are 32bit DDS & BMP. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on P3Dv3 (Not v4), FSX, and FS2004.
Aviateca had only one leased F-28-100 in their fleet which was leased from 1974 to 1975, and this is it. History of PH-BZM: First delivery was to Fairchild-Hiller Corporation on May 5 1972. It was bought back by Fokker in July 1974, and then leased to Aviateca on August 5 1974.It was initially registered as PH-ZBM, then added to the local Guatemalan register as TG-CAO. As mentioned above, it was with Aviateca for 1 year. It was returned to Fokker on August 9 1975. Aerolineas Argentinas leased it next on November 30 1976, and returned to Fokker on June 30 1977. Finally, it was sold to the Argentine government on December 22 1977, and that's were it completed its service.
