FSX Soko(Avioane) IAR-93 / J-22 Orao Romanian Air Force. The Yugoslavia aviation industry started a program for the design of a replacement for the F-84 Thunderjets which were in the service with the Yugoslavia air force at that time. Romania was also looking for a replacement of it's older Mig-17's. The joint program was given the name YUROM (YUgoslavia-ROMania). The Yugoslavia aircraft was designed as the Orao(Eagle), while in Romania the plane was given the designation IAR-93. This aircraft is a twin-engine, turbojet, high-wing aircraft intended for performing close support, ground attack and tactical reconnaissance missions within the zone of the front and also in the enemy rear and can also be used as low level interceptor. The Global Express cruises at an airspeed of 488 kts and has a maximum altitude of 51,000 ft.. The aircraft is powered by 2 BMW\/Rolls Royce BR700-710A2-20 Turbofan engines, rated at 14,750 pounds takeoff thrust. The cockpit features the Primus 2000 system. This package contains both 4:3 and Wide-Screen 2d panels, as well as a fully interactive Virtual Cockpit. The gauge system was designed to use the freeware FMS by Garett Smith. This is an update for FSX of the AN-32 by Tim Conrad. I found this aircraft when I was looking at another aircraft that was on the same page as this one. There was over 19,000 downloads of it, so I thought to see if I liked it. I have added a 2D panel for those like me who only fly that way. It has some american gauges for those like me who find it simpler than metric gauges, but I used as many of the An-32 gauges as would fit. I have added the other 3 wheels and a different autopilot. I activated the speed hold of the autopilot. I adjusted the weight so that you can now turn arround and land without crashing because the aircraft is no longer overweight to start with. I updated the flight dynamics and took care of the problem of not being able to switch from the Indian Air Force textures to one of the other textures. The VC is still there and working in whatever way it was originally working. I did not try to use it. This is the whole aircraft.
