Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer Package.
The Tri-Pacer is a remarkable aircraft with performance that
matches or exceeds that of its contemporary all metal Cessna
172. It is a full seven feet shorter in length then a 172 and
takes off in a shorter distance with a higher cruise speed.
The Tri-Pacer wins over its pilots with its performance and
it is a delight to fly an aircraft that can get airborne fully
loaded in 1,220 feet and land over a 50 foot barrier in 1,280
feet. It stalls at 48 mph and best rate of climb is at 84 mph
when it can get 620 feet per minute. At 7,000 and 75% power
it will true out at 132 mph and its service ceiling is 15,000.
Today it remains popular as a classic aircraft. By Lynn and
Bill Lyons. 11.9MB

Viscount 708 Alidair (Air Inter) Textures only. Of the six
V.708 aircraft bought from Air Inter this particular aircraft
was not to see long service with it's new owner. Acquired by
Alidair in May 1975 it intially flew as F-BGNT before taking
up the UK marks of G-BDIK in August of that year. It was leased
to Intra from the beginning of April 1976 until the end of October.
On return it was withdrawn and used for spares. This repaint
shows it how it was flying in British marks with no attempt
to remove the Air Inter logos and the titles still visible on
the roof. Requires the FSDS Viscount 700 model by Rick Piper

Viscount 708 Janus Airways Textures only. Janus Airways
of Lydd in Kent bought the three remaining Viscount 700 series

V.700 in the UK. In fact this aircraft made the last ever V.700
flight from and to the UK with a round trip from Lydd to Beauvais
on 30th October 1984. Bought to suppliment Heralds already in
use it was decided at the end of the year not to continue with
the Viscounts and both were sold to MMM Aero Services of Zaire.
This aircraft was broken up in Kinshasa in January 1987. Requires
the FSDS Viscount 700 model by Rick Piper here.

Grumman Goose Package. The
Grumman Goose was originally designed to fulfill a most unique
role. The Goose was thought to be the perfect method of transport
for Manhattan millionaires to fly to Miami. The potential of
the Goose was soon recognized to be beyond that of a weekend
luxury flyer, and rapidly it became the utility plane of choice
for several air services. Because of its amphibious nature,
generous interior space, and rugged construction which enabled
the Goose to go just about anywhere it was quickly adopted by
the Coast Guard as a rescue plane. The 51st G-21 was the second
of a lot of four that was ordered by Peru. Manufactured in 1938,
Darrell Terry flew it from Boeing Field in Seattle to Juneau,
AK in 1974 where it was operated by Southeast Skyways. During
1982 and 1983, N327 appeared on TV as "Cutter's Goose" in ABC's
"Tales of the Gold Monkey." It was eventually sold to James
Templeton and later to Jim Chrysler who operated Chrysler Air
in Washington and N327 was given a blue and yellow paint scheme.
This package portrays N327 in each of its various roles and
adds some fun with scenery and adventures based on the Tales
of the Gold Monkey! There are 25 challenging flights to test
your Goose piloting skills! By Lynn and Bill Lyons. 14.9MB
