2.19Mb (5279 downloads)
FS2004/2002 Arado Ar E.555/1 Luft'46 Art Aircraft Series No.7. This aircraft is a bomber of the Flying Wing type researched from the concept of bomber that is more high-speed than the fighter. It was an aircraft that was able to fly the cruising range of 5000 km at the speed of about 800 km/h by installing the bomb of 4000 kg. Development was advanced aiming at practical use. However, development was suddenly discontinued by the instruction in only eight months. On December 28, 1944, Arado was ordered to cease all work on the E.555 series, probably due to the worsening war situation, and the need to concentrate aircraft development and production on fighters.
