On 11th October 1970 had PH-BUA her first Flight and was 3 Months later delivered to KLM. The "Mississippi" was Boeing's first 747-200 and the first widebody for KLM. She could accommodate 353 passengers, had its own bar on the top deck and flew to New York for the first time on 15th February 1972. However, on November 25th 1973 she was the Target of a hijacking by three Terrorists that fortunately ended in Dubai with no human casualties. After 25 years in Service for KLM and America West Airlines she was scrapped in 1996.
