FSX / FS2004 Southern Cross Fokker FVII/3m. The 'Southern Cross' made the first crossing of the Pacific Ocean by an aircraft, flown by Charles Kingsford-Smith and a crew of three. They took off from Oakland, California on May 31, 1928, and arrived at Brisbane, Australia on June 19. The Southern Cross was, at the time, even more famous than Charles Lindberg's 'Spirit of St. Louis'. The Southern Cross is preserved today at Brisbane Airport. FSX and FS2004 Lockheed 9 Orion Package. The Lockheed Orion was a small, fast commercial transport of wooden construction. A total of 36 Orions of all models were built between 1931 and 1934. Orions were used to set a number of records, and took part in several air races. Included here are four versions in six paint jobs: Varney Speed Lanes, Northwest, American, Swissair, Lineas Aereas Occidentales and Air Express.
