FSX/FS2004 Felixstowe F2A
The Felixstowe F2A flying boat was developed from the
Curtiss H12 ‘Large America’, using basically the same
wing and tail unit, but a completely new fuselage
designed by Lieutenant Commander John Porte of the
Seaplane Experimental Station at Felixstowe in England.
It was for patrol work, mainly over the North Sea,
in 1917-18. The F2A continued in service after WW1
until replaced with Supermarine Southamptons.
Two variants and three colour schemes included.

The Dornier Do X was the largest, heaviest and most powerful flying boat in the world when it was produced by the Dornier company of Germany in 1929. The aircraft was conceived by Dr. Claudius Dornier and took seven years to design and another two years to build. In the design process, a one-to-one wooden mock-up, the first in aviation history, was built. This is the G-max Dornier DO-X base package. Includes 2D panel, 3D panel, sounds and polished aluminium textures (without paint scheme). Inspired in the real aircraft.
