FSX Scenery--Chicago O'Hare Airport (KORD), Illinois (IL), USA. All gate assignments are as they are in 2019. You will need FSX_LTS.ZIP and JETWAY_EXTENSIONS.ZIP to complete some of these sceneries. I added runways 10L-28R, 10C-28C, 10R-28L, 9L-27R. I also rworked the approaches for these runways, per available aircharts. All taxiways have been replaced and renamed as well. I did my best to get the taxi signs correct as well. This was a very large project and took me 8 days to complete. By Rick Bennett

The A318 is the smallest member of the A320 family and is capable of steep approach and short runway operations. This is a repaint of the F-27-500 in Air Zaire colors. The freeware FSX Native with VC F-27-500 by Bjorn Kesten is needed for this repaint. It was converted from Mike Stone's and Tom Gibson's models. The textures are 32bit DDS. It was tested on FSX-SE, but should work on FSX & P3Dv3. Air Zaire operated 2 F-27-400s (leased) and 8 F-27-600s (purchased). In 1983 they put in an order to Fokker for 4 F-27-500s. However the aircraft were never delivered. To avoid collapse, due to financial problems and rising expenses, Air Zaire's fleet was reduced in 1984. One B-737-298C, and two F.27-600s were withdrawn, while the new Fokker F-27-500 order was cancelled. This repaint is of one of the Fokker F-27-500s which were ordered by Air Zaire, but never delivered. It was painted in Air Zaire's scheme, with Dutch registration.

This is a repaint of a DC-8-63 in Air Zaire colors. The payware DC-8 50-70 pack by JustFlight is needed for this repaint. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Air Zaire operated 2 DC-8-63s. This aircraft, 9Q-CLG was previously with Air Congo and transferred to Air Zaire in 1971. It provided good service for the airline until 1991 when it was sold to African Air Charter (AAC).

This is a repaint of the DC-4 in Air Zaire colors. The freeware DC-4 (C-54) V3 by Jens B Kristensen is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are 32bit DDS. Air Zaire operated 8 DC-4s. These were passed on to the airline by Air Congo, after the name change in 1971. This DC-4, 9Q-CBG was with Air Congo/Air Zaire from 1967 to July 1976, when it was sold to Zaire Aero Service. It tragically crashed with that airline, on August 23 1988, over Mbamou Island in in the Republic of the Congo.

This is a repaint of the Sud Aviation Caravelle VI-R in Air Zaire colors. The freeware Sud Aviation Caravelle VI-R by AFG is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are 32 bit DDS for better image quality. BMP textures are also included for the FS9 users. (A link of a Caravelle 10R FSX panel is included for FSX and P3D users). In actuality, Air Zaire did not operate the Caravelle VI-R. They operated the 11R. No sim model exists for that Caravelle model. Only six were produced by Sud Aviation, of which two were operated by Air Zaire. The Sud Aviation Caravelle 11R was 2.4 feet longer than the VI-R. The VI-R was one of the most popular models of the Caravelle series. Air Zaire operated the Caravelles from 1967 to 1976.
