FSX/FS2004 Pilotable steamship giant Great Eastern. Launched in 31 January 1858 this huge ship was the biggest movin object ever - and this for 40 years. With a displacement of 32,160 tons, a length of 211 m, six masts and five funnels, four steam engines with 8,000 HP totaly, two huge paddle wheels and one screw the giant reached up to fourteen knots. Records in all cases. Twelve auxillary sails were proposed only for emergency and not for real sailing. The ship was the third famous steamship project of Isambard K. Brunel. The first was the SS Great Western from 1837, the second the SS Great Britain from 1845. The Great Eastern was supposed to sail as passenger ship with up to 4000 passengers between England and Australia without refilling any coal. But this idea failed due to several reasons. Instead the huge vessel succeeded in laying a Transatlantic-cable from Ireland to Newfoundland in 1865. The ship was scrapped between 1889 and 1900. My FS-model comes with animated sails. FSX/FS2004 Pilotable Flower-class corvette Snowberry. It was a British class of 294 corvettes used during World War II by the Allied navies particularly as anti-submarine convoy escorts in the Battle of the Atlantic. Royal Navy ships of this class were named after flowers. HMS Snowberry sailed 1941 to New Foundland and served then for the Canadian Navy as HMCS Snowberry. The Flower-class was armed with a four inch gun and several AA-guns plus four depth charge throwers and a hedgehog mortar. All of that weapons are animated in my model. Even with a relativ short length of 62.5 m and a small power of 2750 HP and a low speed of only sixteen knots it was a very successful vessel to fight German U-boats. FSX/FS2004 Captain Nemo's submarine Nautilus regarding Jules Verne's novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" from 1869–70. And like in the famous movies also my model provides an attacking giant octopus. Of course my vessel can also submerge stepwise by using Flaps. FSX/FS2004/Acceleration Motorcycle BMW 900 Cafe Racer. This beautyful weight reduced road racer has a 2-cylinder boxer engine. The airfiles let you enjoy the driving on straight roads in high speed. But curvy roads are a real challenge. The model can be parked without driver (using Wingfold). When driving you can control the roll angle with the joystick. FSX/FS2004 Race car BMW M1 Procar. Only 460 BMW M1 were buildt between 1978-1981. At this time it was a supercar with high tech and a 3.5 liter 6 cylinder mid-engine with 277 PS, reaching 260 kmh. In fact the real vessel is a replica, buildt 1997 in Turkey as Grand Turk and it was mainly used as movie ship for the "Hornblower" TV serie. FSX Pilotable French Gunboat Le Renard From 1812. It was the 8th and last ship of the famous and succesful french corsair Robert Surcouf. Finally and after the wars against Great Britain Surcouf has used the armed cutter no more for captizing enemies but more for enjoying sailing together with his family. A replic of his last vessel sails as museum ship until now arround the port of Saint Malo. My model offers animated guns, seperatly for port and starboard. With a special animation you can shift sails from port to starboard. In FSX seven teen camera views provide decks- mast- and external views to watch all the animations. This is my second update for FSX of the Skycar_400_V4 by AC Kerkhove. I have added a HUD to the 2D panel and changed or added other gauges; added 2 scrape points and adjusted 2 points; and updated the flight dynamics. It will now cruise at 350 knots over the ground at 25,000 ft. This is the whole aircraft, but with only 3 paints from the original aircraft.

FSX/FS2004 Pilotable italian WW2 battleship Roma. It was one of three Littorio-class battleships. Buildt between 1934 and 1942. With a length of 241 m and a beam of 33 m, a power of 128000 SHP on 4 screws this vessels were the biggest and most powerful battelships of the Regia Marina. The vessels were armed with 9x15 inch guns, 12x6 inch and 4x4.7 inch guns plus plenty of AA-guns. The ships suffered during WW2 with many enemy attacks: November 1942 by a british submarine, December 1942 and April and June 1943 by US air rides. On 9th September 1943 due to the Italian armistice, a great fleet of the three battleships, six cruisers and many destroyers sailed from La Spezia to Malta to surrender and handle over the fleet to the allies. The Germans tried to prevent the italian fleet will be transfered to the allies by sending Dornier Do 217 bombers from Kampfgeschwader 100, armed with Fritz X radio-controlled bombs, to sink the italian fleet. Roma was hit twice by the precise Fritz X bombs and sank soon together with 1253 men whilst 596 survived. FSX/FS2004 Pilotable Italian WW2 Destroyer Soldati. Between 1938 and 1943 twelve destroyers of the Soldati-class destroyers were built for the Regia Marina, the Italian Navy. Finally even seventeen ships were build and some sailed under the French or Soviet flag. The last vessels were in service until 1965. With a length of only 106.7 m but a power of 48.000 SHP on two shafts the ship made up to 35 knots. The destroyer was armed with two 12 cm twin and one 12 cm single gun, eight 20 mm AA-guns and two triple torpedo tubes. My model is very detailed and offers some animatet guns, rangefinder and torpedo shots seperatly to port and starboard. In FSX twenty three camera views provide decks- and nav bridge views.
