This pack houses not only the single updated S-2A airtanker released by Milton Shupe and crew at SOH, but it also includes 4 more additional modified airframes of the S-2 Tracker as it flew with various agency operators across North America and France. With Milton's permission the base aircraft was updated with PBR for P3Dv4 and newer versions of P3D as well as expanded the airtanker models to include the S2F1 (S-2A) variant flown by Conair known as the "Firecat." Another special Canadian created version by Field Aviation, which is based on the licensed Grumman S-2 Tracker built by De Havilland, as the CS2F Tracker (S-2C) distinguished between it's counterparts by it's more protruding retardant tank. The other variants represent different nacelle cap designs utilized by California Department of Forestry (CDF) and versions created by Marsh Aviation. Despite there being several iterations of the radial S-2 Tracker tankers, they all revolved around an 800 gallon capacity fire retardant tank. They also being significantly lighter than their military variants saw speed boosts in both cruise and top speeds. A top speed of 295mph or 256 knots and a cruise speed of 195 mph, or about 170 knots. The airframe was very maneuverable and fast despite carrying a 7,200lb payload. This undoubtedly led to why the S-2 Tracker is still used in heavily modified and even original trim variants for firefighting. Despite some of the original airframes first being modified for firefighting in the 1970s. The pack houses fleet repaints for Government of Saskatchewan in both it's early yellow scheme and later white schemed S-2Cs and Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. Early CDF contract liveries for Sis-Q for S-2As from the 1970s and a CDF livery from the early 1990s. In addition, it also houses 2 S-2A paints representing the only 2 flyable S-2A airtankers still flying fire missions in the USA. Those being former CDF T-95 now flying contract firefighting missions with the state of Kansas and soon to join her will be former T-154 from Marsh Aviation. 5 model variations total and 21 aircraft to choose from. Sounds were also slightly updated as were flight performance, blur disks, weights, and contact points. Original repaints are compatible, but may need slight modification to textures to work with new models. FSX/P3D Conair S-2 Securite Civile T1-T14. The Conair S-2 Turbo Firecat was a critical aerial firefighting aircraft utilized by the French Sécurité Civile. Developed in Canada by converting surplus Grumman S-2 Trackers with turboprop engines, these aircraft played a major role in Mediterranean fire suppression, carrying over 3,300 liters of water/retardant. This pack houses the S-2T or S2F1T Turbo Firecat originally done by Milton Shupe and company at SOH and was updated and modified by myself with his permission. The Turbo Firecat boasts a much more efficient engine with it's turbine conversion using a pair of Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A-67AF engines producing 1,424 shp each. An endurance of 5 hours 6 minutes with it's two 45 gallon external underwing tanks and a top speed of 253mph or 220 knots. It is able to carry up to 870 gallons of water or fire retardant and up to 45 gallons of foam water injection compound. Not to be confused with the larger, faster, and more powerful US operated Marsh S-2F3AT used by Cal Fire. The Turbo Firecats operated mostly in France with Securite Civile and some operations allegedly in Spain. They operated with Securite Civile from 1994 to 2020 when all aircraft were retired with most airframes seeing well in excess of 10,000 flight hours! Only 2 remain airworthy as of 2026 as flying museum pieces. This package houses all operational aircraft with Securite Civile, including 2 special anniversary liveries, and a single Conair Canada prototype livery. Updates include updated model for PBR, sounds, contact points, and other minor updates for longevity in the newer sims. Original aircraft by Milton Shupe. This package contains 156 repaints for the default FSX & P3D Piper PA 28 180 Cherokee. There is a traffic BGL included with text documents which provide a flight plan for each aircraft. The flights cover 106 airports in the southeastern part of the U.S. along the gulf coast from central & south Texas to southern Georgia and the Florida panhandle.

This is a significant update package for Milton Shupe's S-2T Turbo Tracker. Done with Milton's permission, this pack takes his and crew's original work and updates it for the newer sims with updated 4k textures, PBR, and several other lighting, flight dynamic, sound, and contact point modifications. The package includes all 23 aircraft of Cal Fire's current firefighting fleet of S-2F3ATs, commonly referred to as an "S-2T" or S-2 Turbo Tracker. Unlike the Conair Turbo Firecat, based on the S-2F1, the Marsh manufactured S-2F3AT is based upon the larger S-2F3 airframe. The Turbo Firecats are powered by a PT-6 variant turboprop rated at 1,220 SHP each. While the Marsh Turbo Trackers are powered by a more powerful pair of Garrett TPE-331-14GR turboprops. This also yields not only a much higher top speed than the Turbo Firecats, but also an increased fire retardant capacity of 1,200 US Gallons versus the Turbo Firecat's 897 US Gallons. But at a loss of endurance compared to the Turbo Firecat's slightly more than 5 hours, the S-2F3ATs falls down to 4.5 hours. Visually the two aircraft look very similar. But things that ID them over the Turbo Firecat are the S-2F3AT's longer fuselage, longer and rounded wings, lack of exterior fuel tanks, and a slightly pointed aerodynamic nose. The S-2F3AT is an exclusively modified airframe for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). No other agency or country flies the S-2F3ATs. Cal Fire operates 23 S-2F3ATs in total. 22 are based across 13 air attack bases strategically positioned throughout the state of California with a single spare kept at Cal Fire's HQ in Sacramento for relief and additional resource stacking, if needed. Cal Fire uses the S-2T in it's fast initial attack program to keep fires small by being able to dispatch S-2Ts anywhere in the entire state in 20 minutes or less. And with S-2Ts capable of flying near or at 300 mph, reinforcements can be on scene very fast from other bases. The S-2F3AT arguably is one of the best Initial Attack aircraft used in aerial firefighting in the United States. No other aircraft in it's category can compete with it's speed, agility, and load capacity. It's closest comparable platform in the industry is the much larger, slower, and more expensive Viking CL-415/215T. Pack includes all 23 unique aircraft numbers and base assignments, along with 2 additional duty worn paints for T-73 and T-83. deHavilland DHC-6 Twin Turbine engines, amphibian model FOPI and AST (AIR SEATAC) update. New gear lever gauge and GPWS and TCAS gauges and Ground Handling gauge. The GPWS gauge added lower on the 2d panel and TCAS gauge is a stand alone gauge and the Ground Handling is a stand alone gauge and shows up in the lower left side of the 2D panel.(Not sure if this is all there is to the TCAS gauge, if you know how to get the TCAS gauges to show up in the TCAS frame please fix.
