This airfield located in the southwest of Munich has been closed down in the early
seventees. After World War II the airfield was operated by the US Air Force until it was handed over to the German Air Force in 1957. The German Air Force stationed
"Transport Wing 61" there flying the French Noratlas (Nord N2501) until an aircraft model change took place (Transall C-160) which was then the main reason for moving to Landsberg (ETSA). In memory of spending some nice years in Neubiberg as a Radio Operator and Navigator I decided to reanimate this airfield.

This scenery is an addon to the excellent El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" made by Kevin Burns. It represents the "German PATRIOT Training Site" and the "German Soldiers Club" at Fort-Bliss. The EZ-Scenery is dedicated to all the nice Raytheon people and US/GE personnel I met there many times. The El-Paso scenery "KELP El Paso Photo Scenery.zip" available here at the Simviation library is absolutely required to enjoy this addon!

This AI-package contains several beautiful airplanes: Boeing: B-52H, C-17 Globemaster,

Hawk MkT1, Hamburger Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transal, Lockheed: C-5A Galaxy, C-130 Hercules and F-117 Stealth, and last not least Lockheed-Martin: F-16C Falcon. These aircraft perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern at Biggs-Field per attached flightplan in order to get prepared for the upcoming Biggs-Field Airshow. My part was just to prepare them in order to work in an artificial
intelligent (AI) environment as good as possible. The excellent El-Paso scenery "elp_photo.zip" from Kevin Burns, available here at the Simviation library, is required to enjoy this package!

Although I tested the Alverca AB scenery on a more or less neutral computer with
basic FS9 configuration, it was not obvious to me that some building textures were missing due to an active Fassberg scenery which was using some of the same textures. That means, FS9 took the required textures which were missing in the Alverca AB textures folder from the Fassberg scenery. This I didn't know so far. The textures for the water tower and the storage tanks are still missing and they will be provided shortly by a second update. I am sorry for causing this inconvenience.
