This pack houses highly updated models of the stock P3D4+ C-130H Hercules' specially modified for aerial firefighting missions and the internal retardant tanks equipped. These aircraft have several quality of life updates, addition of PBR, 4k textures, specialized retardant door animations, internal tank models, external model updates for added equipment, and really tons of other small things to help update the stock 20+ year old models to better represent the real world aircraft than the stock P3D aircraft did. This pack has 4 model variations used in aerial firefighting. 3 special models used by Coulson aviation, including the EC-130Q and the HC-130H used by Cal Fire. The pack houses all currently active platforms with both Cal Fire and Coulson Aviation with 14 total aircraft to choose from across the 4 model variations. Paints may be compatible with other versions of the C-130s, but may need heavy modifications to get to work properly. Due to the extremely modified nature of these, it is highly recommended to leave them separate from your stock P3D C-130s as the features added may not work properly if combined with the stock aircraft. The pack is a component based mod. Meaning this is NOT the entire aircraft. the user will have to take and copy files from your stock P3D C-130s and paste them into these to complete the pack and make them functional in your sim. This is the release of v2.0 of the updated C-130 Firefighters. This pack houses updated models of the military and USFS MAFFS (Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System) installed in the aircraft. This pack houses a complete inventory of all 8 current (2026) USAF military equipped C-130s as well as several past iterations flown by the USFS and early C-130 variants equipped with the earlier Legacy MAFFS unit. The pack houses all 8 USAF aircraft currently flying with the MAFFS II system. The system easily identified as the large single nozzle that is positioned outside the left side paratrooper door. This pack houses this version of MAFFS and the Legacy MAFFS unit with twin nozzles mounted on the rear cargo ramp. All models also have the MAFFS internal tank modeled as well. The aircraft types represented in the pack are as follows; C-130J-30, C-130H, C-130H3, and HC-130H. All modern USAF MAFFS units operate the C-130H3, notably identified by the 8-bladed NP2000 propellers these are equipped with. The single exception is the 146th AW of the California Air National Guard, whom operate the C-130J-30. The HC-130H represents the brief time period that the USFS operated their own LATs. The C-130H models represent a time period prior to the H models equipped with MAFFS II being upgraded to NP2000 H3 models. And another H model with the Legacy MAFFS unit equipped as they would have been in the early 2000s prior to MAFFS II introduction in 2008. Model errors were corrected, new external mods also have been added to better represent the actual USAF equipped C-130s, MAFFS II nozzles were remodeled and custom sounds have been included for the C-130H3 and C-130J-30. This is only compatible with the stock P3D C-130s from P3DV4 or newer. It is NOT compatible with FSX or earlier versions of P3D. These are NOT the whole aircraft. You will need the stock files from you P3D C-130s to complete the aircraft to make them functional in your sim. The amount of aircraft model updates, HD repaints, PBR addition, and custom sound files account for the large file size. The OV-10 Bronco was initially conceived in the early 1960s and designed for rugged, simple, close air support, integrated with reconnaissance and forward ground operations. The Bronco’s missions included aerial observation, forward air control, helicopter escort, armed reconnaissance, gunfire spotting, utility and ground attack. Model by Tim Conrad. FSX/P3D Boeing C-17 Globemaster III USAF, RAF and Armée de l'Air (French Air Force). This is the Boeing C17 originally by Gmax Academy converted to FSX native format and compatible with FSX and P3D v4+. Added the A400M internal VC by Patrick Le Luyer which is the nearest I can find to the military cockpit of the C17. Model conversion by Speedbird77. Packaged for P3D/FSX by Chris Evans.

FSX/P3D Boeing P8 Poseidon Republic of Korea Navy. The South Korean Navy currently operates 6 Boien gp8 used as Multi-Mission Maritime Patrol. The Boeing P8 Poseidon is a highly modified Boeing 737-800ER with many additions to include anti submarine, anti sea surface and is equipped with highly developed naval detection and anti warfare systems. FSX Native P8 Poseidon model by TDS. Package includes military themed 737-800 VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena/FSND/Ken Wiggington upgraded Boeing 737-800 VC model. Autobrake switch. Opening pilots window. Cabin Lights switch. Realistic FMC. Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS). Includes added MFD and PFD panels. Exits, wheel levels, jetways and views corrected for FSX/P3d. An update package for the Sukhoi Su-7 by Mehlin Rainer. And the Su-9/Su-11 by Drstalker, Brett Hoskins, and Michael Pook. Both packages uploaded by Aardvark Ratnik I made some additions and modifications to the 2Dpanel and VC. Aircraft systems have been simplified to reduce the need for turning on lots of electrical switches. A new radar scope, RMI, and DME for navigation, with new popup windows. Flight dynamics and lights have also been altered to improve flight characteristics. All necessary files, along with a detailed description and installation instructions included in the readme file.
