The ARX-5R (Concept 5) is a custom built single-seat unlimited category aerobatic aircraft based on the V8-powered ARX-5X (ARX5v21_jt-1.zip). The R Model was made specifically for Austin Gardner's Firestorm Airshows, one of the longest running online solo demo's. Like it's ARX-5 stablemates, the R model can easily handle compulsory competition maneuvers as well as more advanced gyroscopic maneuvers such as lomcovaks and tumbles. The ARX-5R has wings, tail, and gear struts from the ARX-5T Turbo Coyote, and is thus slightly faster than the original Model X. It is therefore the fastest piston-driven ARX-5 available. This FSX native model contains animations, reflections, environment mapping, spec mapping and a full dynamic virutal cockpit. Although it is not a real aircraft it does have several real-world components such as the Chelton Flight Systems EAU(engine airdata unit) display, and a Hartzell "scimitar" swept blade propeller. Includes 1 model and 2 similar schemes with a custom smoke system and pyrotechnic effects for night airshows. Aircraft, effects, and panel by Jason L. Terry. Texture sets for Milton Shupe & Team's FSX Lockheed L-18 Lodestar. I immaginated Pennsylvania Railroad went into the air cargo business in the airline expansion after WW2, becoming one of the top air cargo businesses in the US.This package contains two liveries in the classic Pennsylvania RR Maroon (passenger) and Brunswick Green (cargo).Obviously these liveries are completely fictional and Pennsylvania RR never flew the Lodestar (or other planes I suppose). "TomProps" v1.5 Red, White, and Blue Tips. FSX varying transparency propeller texture 10-packs with red, white, and blue tipped prop blades. These are freeware FSX prop textures that work in FS2004 as well. Enclosed are two 10-packs... one in Bitmap format, the other in DDS format, so you can use whichever format you prefer. Each 10-pack contains 10 identical red, white, and blue tipped propeller textures, each one varying in transparency, with #1 being the most transparent and #10 being the least transparent. I prefer the mid-range transparencies of #3 thru #5, but that's just me. As in real life, there are no visible prop blades fluttering around to give you vertigo and seizures. I place no restrictions on these prop textures... anybody may use them for any reason they please. By Tom Tiedman
