FSX/FSX-SE/P3D Douglas C-47R Skytrain V3.12 Beta This is the next version following Manfred's popular Douglas C-47 Skytrain V2, now featuring a 'Vintage Virtual Cockpit' (VVC), a genuine P&W R-1830 Twin Wasp soundsuite developed by Ted 'Tufun' Wolfgang as well as a fully fledged cockpit-soundsuite, crew communication and audible checklist developed by Daniel Gauthier. Also the flight dynamics have been updated by Alexander as well as some perfections done on the external model by Manfred. Repaints available for the V2 model will still work with this new V3 model although with some restrictions. Look for a new, V3 dedicated C-47 Paintkit by Gordon 'gman5250' Madison ( MJJV C-47 Paintkit.zip ) and further information about using existing C-47 V2 repaints in the C-47 V3 release thread at the Sim-Outhouse FSX forum ( http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/forumdisplay.php?44-FSX-General-Discussion ). This file now includes the parachute textures missing from the original upload.

FSX/P3D Short Empire flying boat ver 3.0. These famous aircraft formed the backbone of the Imperial Airways, it's sucessor BOAC. and its partners Qantas Empire Airways and TEAL from the mid 1930s and through World War Two. Three variants in six color schemes included. Version 3 model it the native FSX format, with more accurate cockpit. An FS2004 version is available separately. By Jens B. Kristensen

Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 Package for FSX. The Royal Aircraft Factory's S.E.5.a went tooth and nail with the Sopwith Camel for the accolade of being the finest British fighting aeroplane of World War I. Designed by a team which included the legendary H. P. Folland, the first prototype was unveiled in December, 1916. The craft utilised a 150-HP Hispano-Suiza engine with a large, automotive-style radiator and truncated exhaust manifolds. The S.E.5.a was widely regarded as a tough opponent by the enemy and as a good friend in the air by its pilots. It was robust, fast, and very easy to fly. The aircraft remains extremely popular among early aviation history buffs and WWI aficionados, and replicas abound, in both full- and smaller-scale versions. Excellent reproductions of the plane can be seen in the films "The Aviator" and "Flyboys", but the best place to see the S.E.5.a in action is in the restored version of Howard Hughes' "Hell's Angels". ALPHA_SE5a_FSX.zip. The Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 was a British biplane fighter aircraft of the First World War. Although the first examples reached the Western Front before the Sopwith Camel and it had a much better overall performance, problems with its Hispano-Suiza engine meant that there was a chronic shortage of S.E.5s until well into 1918 and fewer squadrons were equipped with the type than with the Sopwith fighter.
