FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXVII
23.81Mb (460 downloads)
FSX/P3D v3,v4,v5 Seafire MkXVII The Supermarine Seafire, was a naval development of the Spitfire, and was the first modern carrier based fighter fielded by the Royal Navy. The Seafire F Mk XVII was a modified Mk XV; the most important changes were the teardrop canopy, reinforced main undercarriage which used longer oleos and a lower rebound ratio. This went some way towards taming the deck behaviour of the Mk XV, reduced the propensity of the propeller tips "pecking" the deck during an arrested landing and the softer oleos stopped the aircraft from occasionally bouncing over the arrestor wires and into the crash barrier. This is a new model by A.F.Scrub. It is native P3D and FSX.

FSX/P3D Spitfire HF Mk 7
FSX/P3D Spitfire HF Mk 7
9.36Mb (522 downloads)
FSX/P3Dv3,v4,v5 Spitfire HF Mk7. Like the Mk VI, the Mk VII was a high altitude pressurised variant, this time powered by the Merlin 64 (F. Mk. VII) or 71 (H.F. Mk. VII) series engine with two-stage, two-speed superchargers. Extended, "pointed" wingtips were fitted to the Type C wings, increasing the wingspan to 40 ft 2 in (12.2 m). Because the threat from high altitude bombers never materialised many Mk VIIs later reverted to the normal, rounded wingtip. Native mdl by A.F.Scrub

The Miles Hawk Major was a 1930s British two-seat light monoplane, developed by Miles Aircraft from the Miles Hawk in order to take advantage of the new inverted de Havilland Gipsy Major engine. When fitted with the longer Gipsy Six in place of the forward crew member, it was known as the Miles Hawk Speed Six.A racing version was developed with a 200 hp de Havilland Gipsy Six engine. To make room for the longer, six-cylinder engine the front cockpit was removed, making it a single-seater, and the rear cockpit was repositioned to retain balance. The type became known as the Miles Hawk Speed Six. Only three were built, each tailored to the buyer's requirements, but they has a significant impact on the Golden Age of British air racing This repaint is based on the livery of the Arrows A3 driven by Riccardo Patrese in the 1981 Formula1 World Championship.

P3Dv4+ AH C-119 Jet Pack Airtankers Package
524.07Mb (305 downloads)
With the permission of Aeroplane Heaven I have created the C-119 airtankers equipped with the Steward-Davis Jet Pack modification package. The modified aircraft has the Westinghouse J34 turbojet engine affixed to the top of the fuselage. The addition is not merely cosmetic, the jet engine has it's own sounds and can be controlled independently of the radial engines. A replica throttle quadrant has also been added for the SD Jet Pack on the overhead panel in the VC. In addition to the J34 and added performance of the turbojet engine, I have also added a second "long nose" variant. In the real world the C-119 Jet Pack equipped aircraft flew largely as airtankers in the United States from the early 1970s until 1987 when the fleet was permanently grounded. The addition of the J34 to the aircraft boosted the C-119s MTOW from 74,000lbs to 78,000lbs and gave the aircraft much better performance as an airtanker. The airtankers routinely operated with 18,000lbs of retardant from hot, high density altitude airports in the Western United States primarily. 2 primary operators of the C-119 Jet Pack Tankers existed. Hemet-Valley Flying Service and Hawkins & Powers. Aero Union did operate a small number of SD Jet Pack C-119s briefly before selling those aircraft to HVFS. HVFS T-82, 86 and H&P T-135, and 137 are included in this package. This package is only compatible in P3Dv4+. This is based upon the recently released freeware AH C-119, and is the entire aircraft. T-82 repaint by Randy Tyndall. Original aircraft by Aeroplane Heaven. Remaining repaints and SD Jet Pack Modifications done by Nicholas Mitchell
