FS2004/FSX Curtiss P-36 Dutch:
The Curtiss P-36 Hawk, was an American designed and built fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 40s. It was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft, a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine. Obsolete at the onset of World War II and best known as the predecessor of the Curtiss P-40. This is a Dutch version powered by the Cyclone engine. Corrected aircraft.cfg to avoid the model jumping on loading (also works with Finnish version).

A contemporary of the much superior Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft—a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine. Obsolete at the onset of World War II and best known as the predecessor of the Curtiss P-40. This is a Finnish version powered by the Cyclone engine.

The O-43 was one of many observation planes designed by Douglas for the USAAC. It entered service in 1934 and carried on until WW2 . It had a parasol wing rather than the gull wing of earlier Douglas designs. This is a native FSX Acceleration project. It has the usual animations and .dds textures. I have included a sound file for a V-12 in line engine by "Lawdog" which is as close as I could find for a Curtiss Conqueror engine. The VC is based on a actual photo and includes working gauges and animated flight controls. The gauges feature emissive back lights for night flying. There is no 2D panel. By Paul Clawson
