FSX Acceleration Stearman Kaydet upgraded package Part 1. This is David Eckert's model, modified by Mark Rooks. Fully animated parts, detailed virtual cockpit and 2D panel, sound and effects. In this new upgrade there are full glare texts, added interior and exterior camera views for pilot and co-pilot seats, new VC and 2D panel wood textures. You also have choice of painted black or clear wood prop. I will be posting Package 2 of the upgrade with the Stearman Duster and Sprayer FSXA models next. The Livery is SX-AGI of Thessaloniki(Salonica) Aeroclub, the only serviving Stearman in Greece. About 30 Stearman Kaydet, conducted from 1945 an idiomorphic campaing against Malaria, dusting all over Greece (The Anti-Malaria Group or AMAG). Originaly a US Air Force plane first transfered to the AMAG unit,then to Hellenic Air-Force as SX-EZA. It was the only one left in operational state in Sedes museum when bought by the club. Chinese Airports are poorly represented in FSX. These are four created in Airport Design Editor (ADE); ZGOW, ZPDQ, ZSWZ and ZUGY. They are not sophisticated scenery so I have included the ADE source files to allow further editing and enhancement. Please repost any improved airports on this site.

MGMM Mundo Maya International Airport and the Tikal Ruins in Guatemala. The site is part of Guatemala's Tikal National Park and in 1979 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The FSX coverage for airports on it's Pacific coast is poor. I have created a number using ADE. I am not a great scenery creator, but they are all flyable (I believe) and I have included the ADE source files for them along with the bgl's so you can edit them yourselves. If you make improvements to them please post them back on this site as I would love to see them.

VNMA is not represented in FSX but presents a real challenge. It is a short dirt runway in the heart of the Annapurna range in Nepal. At an altitude of just over 11,000ft and surrounded by mountains of over 20,000ft it's an airport to challenge you. There are no roads in the area and all local traffic is on foot or carried on mule backs.

Tested on Windows XP and Windows 7. This download adds airfield markers and ICAO id's found in FSX, and overlays them on Google Earth. This file is for Fiji Islands. There is also a seperate file with a list of basic airfield location details. i.e: EGBB Birmingham Airport. Birmingham. N52* 27.23' W1* 44.88' alt325.
