FS2004 BAC 167 Strikemaster. The BAC 167 Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T.Mk 5. The Strikemaster was modified with an up-rated engine, wing hard-points, a strengthened airframe, new communication and navigation gear, up-rated ejection seats, a revised fuel system, and shortened landing gear. First flown in 1967, the aircraft was marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft. A total of 146 were built. This model is very detailed and features highly reflective metallic skin and full animations. The panel background is based on photographic material found on the net. Some gauges are default and all the others have been created by the author. Included in this model there is also a very simple Virtual Cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls. Capt. I. D'Attomo. 2.2MB

FS2004 Dassault Mirage F1EQ-6, IrAF textures only. This is a repaint of the Mirage F1C-200 (F1V25.zip here) by Kirk Olsson. It is painted as a F1EQ-6 from the Iraqi Air Force during the late 1980's "Iran-Iraq war". The advanced F1EQ-6 model and the newly delivered French Matra Super 530D finally gave the Iraqis the edge against Iranian F-14A Tomcats and several were shot down in air-to-air combat during the last phase of the war. FS2004 Dassault Super-Etendard. The Super Etendard is a carrier-based single-seat strike fighter first introduced into service in 1978. It is an updated version of the Etendard IVM. Based on experience gained during the Korean war (1950-53), French authorities drew up specifications for a light interceptor. This definition was rapidly assimilated into a program for a light tactical bomber that could also fulfil an air superiority mission. At the same time, NATO published its requirements for the LWTSF (Light Weight Tactical Strike Fighter). In response, the Dassault company presented its Mirage and Etendard aircraft. Capt. I. FS2004 North American F-107 \/YF-107A Package. The North American YF-107A was intended as a fighter-bomber based on the F-100 airframe. It featured a partially recessed weapons bay under the fuselage and underwent drastic design changes which resulted in the abandonment of the F-100B designation in favor of YF-107A. The aircraft featured some cutting-edge technology, including a vertical slab, variable area inlet ducts, a fly-by-wire control system which allowed quicker rolling at supersonic speeds, and a number of other innovations. Ultimately, three aircraft were built and tested with generally favorable results. The F-107 was a fast, maneuverable airplane that showed promise, but in the end the program was cancelled, to be replaced by the well-known Republic F-105 Thunderchief. Two survive, one at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Arizona, and the other in the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio. By Alpha Simulations. 3.6MB
