Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 2./JG51
Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 2./JG51 (Category: FS2004 > Vintage)
24.45Mb (335 downloads)
Messerschmitt Bf109G-6 by Design Team Daedalus Unit: 2./JG51 Russia, winter 1943-44 Pilot: Fw. Kurt Nachtgall There is no "standard" Bf 109G-6, as the production run spanned 2 years, it underwent many modifications and updates along the way. So each model we have created has it's own unique features. Pstrany developed the models using Paul Rebuffat's Messerschmitt model - with permission - as a starting framework and updated the shape, and added a plethora of details, new parts, and ideas. Pstrany also developed the models for the drop tanks, weapons and racks. Captain Kurt created paints for each, the 2D instrument panel, the individual .dp files, the air files and the aircraft.cfg files. Mav SCASM edited each model so that they have animated wing slats, drop tanks, and other features, as well as optimizing models for the best possible framerates. Mav also developed the idea for the 2d panel to be offset for the Revi gunsight to match the CFS2 reticle. We have all benefited from the assistance and guidance of others in the community. Special thanks to Wolfi and Huub Vink for their kind assistance, and to all who have contributed their knowledge, directly and indirectly.

Serene Skies for FS2004

Serene Skies for FS2004 (Category: FS2004 > Scenery)
1.41Mb (478 downloads)
These sky textures are spread through the changing 10 days of displaying that FS2004 gives us. All texture bitmaps are completely re-worked default FS2004 sky textures, not a single one of any of them remains as the default ones. There is no performance hit, as the bitmaps are of the same size and weight class of the original 140 default textures. The nighttime sky textures should bring new life to your night flights, having been completely re-worked this past month. 20 to 50 miles visibility setting for daytime works well, with 50 miles to unlimited visibility at nighttime whenever possible being best. These sky sets are each subtly different, practical, and realistic sets designed to grow on you instead of growing old to you.

Update for FSX of the F-7U Cutlass (Category: FSX > Military)

This is an update of the Vought F-7U Cutlass by RanchoJEN and updated by Michael Pook. I have updated the flight dynamics; added the second nose wheel and adjusted the contact points. I added a HUD and changed or added some other gauges to the panel; added a launch assist section, so you can use the catapult; changed the afterburner and smoke effects, they only worked for me with the I key, now the afterburners are automatic with the throttle. The VC only has static gauges. This is the whole aircraft.
